Whenever autumn and winter come, I always think of the magnificent snow mountains in western Sichuan. The sunrise over the Golden Mountain, the ice and snow, and the colorful forest of Siguniang Mountain make it as beautiful as an oil painting. Departing from Chengdu, you can reach this beautiful scenic spot by self-driving for 4 hours. Siguniang Mountain has three scenic spots in total: Shuangqiao Gully, Changping Gully, and Haizi Gully. Among them, Shuangqiao Gully is the most worth visiting because you can take a sightseeing car all the way, which is convenient and fast. After getting off at the terminal, there are many stops to play, and each stop can be chosen at will according to personal preference. Recommended stops include: Sequoia Forest, Budala Peak, Siguna Co, Nianyu Dam, and Ginseng Fruit Flat. The easiest place to capture the beauty of the snow mountain in photos is at Budala Peak Station. A 20-minute walk uphill will take you to Zhugana Co, where the fir trees, lakes, meadows, and snow mountains are all very beautiful. When there is no wind, you can also capture the reflection of the snow mountain. Regarding the weather, although the colorful forest season has passed, Shuangqiao Gully is also very beautiful after snowing.
