I have decided to spend a few days of vacation here before Singapore’s National Day comes around. One place you must visit in Singapore is most certainly the Marina Bay. Marina Bay is located in the center of Singapore. It is a beautiful port area, a bit like the Bund in Shanghai. Every Saturday leading up to the National Day of Singapore, at around 19:00 to 20:00, there are firework rehearsals at Marina Bay. It is an extravagant and very energetic firework show. During the night, all the high-rises and buildings nearby are washed in golden lights, reflecting on the surface of the Marina Bay. Even without the fireworks this is a night view worth seeing. The Central Promontory at Marina Bay is a great place to watch the fireworks. Make sure you show up early in order to get a good spot.
