The Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall, also known as the Victoria Memorial Hall, was built in memory of Queen Victoria. It was built in 1905 and was opened by the Governor Sir John Anderson in person. In 1978, after the memorial hall was renovated, it was used as a venue for symphony orchestra performances. In the middle of the Victoria Theatre and the Concert Hall, there is a bell tower, about 53.4 meters high, with a crown-style dome on the roof. There are 5 bronzes hanging on the top of the clock face, and the bell sounds loud and clear. The clock face is 4 meters in diameter and weighs 1 ton. There is also a statue of Sir Raffles in front of the Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall. The one by the river is white, and its age is later than the former.
