WillSumThere is an axis through green space in the center of Southampton
There are a variety of facilities including school residences and commercial streets on both sides. The trees on the central axis of the green space seem to have a certain age, and the various curved intersecting roads can often see puppies flying out freely. Living scene of grabbing food with seagulls
M43***62Stonehenge is wonderful, of course it is, how can it not be. The stones are majestic and awe inspiring even in December. But is the trip up to the stones, walking round and back again worth the price they charge. No it really isn't, the first time I went pre this new visitor centre, it was humble but affordable and did everything it needed. The new visitor centre does not add the value that English heritage seem to think it does.
轻轻的一个蚊Everyone knows the British capital London, and the place name Winchester has gradually faded away. It is the old capital of England, and the ancient Winchester Cathedral is its symbol.
The cathedral with the longest nave in Europe
The resting place of famous writer Jane Austen
One of the oldest cathedrals in England
Filming location of the movie "The Da Vinci Code"
The place where Charles I was crowned
M43***62A lovely display but expensive especially the eggs which were locally sourced. I thought the idea of a farm shop was to provide fresh food at affordable prices as there is no ‘middle man’ ?
WillSumBecause the city of Southampton suffered more damage during the Second World War, most of the historical buildings are practically gone.
Some traces of the city wall can still be seen in the entire city near the port. They and some sculptures have been protected and become part of the garden in the residential area on the hill behind.
there is no Southampton map label in trip.com which is weird as it's the place where Titanic stated it's first and last journey. the city is famous by being a setting for series of Tudors and by it's ancient city walls like these. but of course, with no doubt, the dad story of Titanic did influence on city's image perception, that's why everywhere around the city you can find names of people who died that day when Titanic sank.
