This Spanish restaurant in the CBD is one of my favorites, not for anything else, mainly delicious! I especially recommend his family mushroom bone steak, and pig neck meat. My love of pork in my life is not good!

For dinner, the tape of the front dish tastes tender and sweet, the oysters are very fresh, the main dishes of beef and salmon are a bit hot, and they are out of standard. Called a customer of corn, the best food. A customer roasted pork ribs, is cooked and then burned, good general. One customer cooked for 12 hours and then burned the beef - &quot;we cooked a lot of our own yesterday&quot; tasteless, whether it is pork ribs, roasted beef or other burning things, all with barbecue sauce, the taste is the same.

If you like pub food, with great drinks, brilliant atmosphere and even live music then this is your place. We found Taylor&#39;s which is on the rooftop of the Republic Hotel in the City. The pub has been around for about 16 years ad the roof top only 6 months old be one of the first to experience this great little roof top bar. Relaxed and inviting the bar staff are not only gorgeous but lovely a rarity in Sydney! A must do if your in the City.

Selecting a venue for a business lunch can be daunting. Is the food great - there&#39;s really no room for error here! How will the service be? What is the d&eacute;cor like? What if the venue gets too busy, or too noisy? And it can&#39;t be too far from the office. You want it nice, with great service, but not &#39;in your face&#39; wait staff who insist or demand your attention and who I&#39;m sure make it their business interrupt conversations at critical points. Not so at the Republic Dining. In all my visits here, I&#39;ve never had to sweat the detail. The food is excellent. Reasonable portions, exceptionally well cooked and presented, and to my mind, they serve one of the best scotch fillet steaks in Sydney and that is a big claim given the very competitive and also very good CBD steak venues. Excellent menu and wine selection, great sides and desserts. All done with no fuss. Not too rushed, nor hurried. Just right. The Republic guys and gals know what they are doing, especially Michelle, even if the venue can be a little too &#39;blokey&#39; at lunchtime.

I had a very enjoyable lunch with a friend here recently. I had a wonderful steak - very large and beautifully cooked with a glass of house red and my dining companion had a vegetarian option which he said was very good. The restaurant was well patronised during our visit but the service was friendly and attentive. I would happily go back. Recommended
