Chimei Museum is really beautiful! There is a lot of huge and lovely park and area outside the building to walk and relax also take pictures.

Chimei Museum Taiwan
I love this museum as they were satisfied my eyes. There's a lot of paintings and sculptures in European style. There is a audio recording of orchestra that you could enjoy around at 14.00 or 15.00 (sorry I forgot). They have 7-11 and starbucks. If you are the British Royal Family fans, they have the special exhibition for that. Last time, I spent around 200 TWD but the BRF part was different price. Their souvenir store also sells the replica of their collection.#taiwan #taiwantravel #taiwantourism
East Asia's Pantheon (Chimei Museum Taiwan
Definitely a must visit place if you happen to travel in Taiwan. This museum is located in Tainan, southern city in Taiwan, and has the largest collection of violins. What's interesting about Chimei museum is: The Architecture! Unlike many traditional east asian building that you commonly find (especially in Tainan, where it's dubbed as one of the oldest cities in Taiwan), Chimei museum was built with a great resemblance to the Rome's Pantheon. Even the bridge is surrounded by Olympian Gods and Goddesses.

Garden Night Market Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
The eat-till-drop night market of Tainan
Garden Night Market is one of the most-visit night markets by tourists visiting Tainan. It has plenty of food stalls and game stalls mainly. Food choices really too much for me to choose. I was hoping if only I could stomach all the food down by one night but is impossible. I had fun playing balloon shootings and got myself a cute “travel frog” keychain which suits me. Food here are affordable, I will recommend to just get food here but drinks please get it from outside shops instead.
Address: No. 533號, Section 3, Hai'an Rd, North District, Tainan City, Taiwan 704

Long waiting time for this 煎饼果子
This particular food vendor in garden night market specialises in 煎饼果子.
There is a queue and long waiting time as there is only one person doing it. We waited for about 20 minutes for our turn.
The 煎饼果子 was extremely delicious as we ate it hot! We love the crispy crisp inside and the sauce was flavourful!

Freshly-grilled sausage!
We saw a queue at this particular food vendor that sells grilled sausages.
Their sausages are all freshly grilled and upon ordering, they will cut the sausages into smaller pieces for you. There are side dishes such as cucumbers and pickles.
We can pick our own sauces as well such as chilli or soya sauce.
The sausage was served hot, juicy and flavourful.

Tasty winter melon tea @ Night Market
There is a bubble tea shop in Garden night market that is famous for its winter melon tea. They provide samples for their tea and you can try it before buying!
We tried the tea sample and decided to buy a cup.
The winter melon taste didn’t fully cover the tea taste, and we can still taste the tea fragrance. You can adjust the sugar level according to your liking too!

The elegant lobby of Silks Place Tainan
The service provided by Silks Place Tainan does match up with its 5 star rating!
It is our second stay here and the overall experience was excellent; from opening the car door for us, assisting us with our luggages, to check-in.
There are a few check-in counters available and the staffs were very attentive and efficient in checking us in.
The lobby feels extremely luxurious and we feel that the lobby is the most significant part of a hotel where guests come in for check-ins and out. This is where the guests will have their first experience in the hotel and Silks Place Tainan did it well!

Anping Tree House Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Mysterious Tree House in Tainan
#hiddengems
The Anping Tree House in Tainan is literally a hidden gem as this house is interestingly hidden among the banyan trees. The roots cover the walls of the house, yet the gaps between are wide enough for visitors to walk through, and the tree tops grow above the house. You can even explore the tree tops without the need to climb trees. Admission fee is required to visit here. There is also a souvenir shop selling various snacks and knick knacks for you to bring home, which are surprisingly reasonable considering that it is a tourist spot. There is also a quaint cafe if you want to take a break.
Chilling at Anping Tree House
The Anping Tree House is a place that seems to have sprung out of a whimsical storybook, and our visit there was nothing short of magical. It is a remarkable attraction where nature has intertwined with history in the most enchanting way possible. It's actually a cluster of old warehouses that have been completely consumed by ancient banyan trees. As we arrived at the site, we felt like we were stepping into a real-life fairy tale 🧚♀️
One of the highlights of our visit was the treehouse's historical significance. We learned about its origins as a salt storage facility and how it gradually became a jungle within a building. It felt like the trees themselves were whispering stories of the past, and we were eager listeners.
It was an enchanting journey into a world where history and nature converge, and where every moment felt like a chapter in a whimsical story. It's a place where the past and present coexist in harmony, making it a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a touch of magic in their travel✨✨

WOW That's tree roots house!!!
It is really a impressive place to visit in Tainan. I wonder how many trees and roots are there surrounding the “old house”. Nature lover would surely love the breathtaking views and such a good place to relax. There is a viewing platform which you can see the river view and the river is linked to the sea.
Anping Tree House
Location: Tainan, Taiwan

Tree House in Tainan
Interesting place with tree roots and trunks overgrown into the place, which historically a warehouse for a local merchant selling Western merchandise. When you first enter, the place feels very dense and slightly gloomy. Plus point is that it offers a cooling respite in the hot Taiwanese summer. Looking at the trees makes you wonder on the marvels of nature.
