The Penang National Park is one of the few natural forested areas left on the Island. It is also currently the worlds's smallest national park. Took me 2 hours to hike
If you want to experience an Indiana Jones type hike, then I would suggest going here. The forest is filled with mangroves, beaches, and rocky shores. Also, make sure you wear proper hiking shoes because you will be hiking along rocky, sandy terrain. Monkey Beach is in the park, but beware of the macaques! These little primates are very aggressive.
