Gypsea Gelato

The atmosphere of this adorable shop is full of bright colors, wonderful Hawaiian music, fun and local history! My personal favorites of gelato choices are lilikoi, oreo and the for the love of chocolate!!

After eating Annies, we hope to come here. They are separated by a shop. Be sure to bring your cup or something to go there. My favorites are caramel and sea salt. I also like cream pancakes and ice cream. There are many types, as well as low-calorie frozen juices. The picture shows a medium cup shape, two scoops, 5 dollars, very worthwhile.

In the past November, my daughter and I came here by the way after going to the hospital to see her husband. The boss is a very friendly young man. He is very good at chatting and very considerate. He put a portion of caramel ice cream in a cup, and then poured more caramel sauce on each of our ice creams. The prices here are reasonable and very good. They also have many other flavors. We will stop by here several times when we go to the hospital and when we come back from the hospital. This has become the place we always come to when we are in Kona.

We just finished our two-week vacation in Kona. During our vacation, we went to Kiara Kakua at least seven times. Our four children are still discussing their favorite scent. All I want to say is that Kiara Kakua is the first stop because I will revisit this place many times. This place has a strong atmosphere of hospitality. The owners really make their products with heart. The fragrance is really amazing. Can you still taste the white pineapple elsewhere? Go, there will not let you down!

This is my first visit to the Gypsea ice cream shop and I am not sure if I will visit it for the second time. I was looking for a restaurant while parking in their parking lot. After taking a quick look at their ice cream variety, I decided to try it. They have many different types of ice cream and offer tastings. I like ice cream very much, and Gypseas’ ice cream is one of the best I have ever eaten. I usually buy a large portion, but I think a medium portion will be enough next time. They are very generous and give a large portion. If next time you come to Kealakekua, you should stop and try their home. It will be worth it!
