Escape to Tranquility
This gorgeous forest is located not far from the city. Escape to the forests and enjoy the quiet and solitude, amongst nature, away from crowds. Disappear into the forests. Enjoy the silence. Stay in ...
The width of the dam is longer than the Kurobe Dam. You can overlook the dam and the lake from the observation space along the road a little below, rather than from the Arimine Memorial Hall.
I drove from Arimine, Toyama City to Oritate, where the trailhead of Mt. Yakushi is located. A toll of 1900 yen is required. It is a two-lane forest road in a deep mountain. You can pass from 6am to 20am.
The scenery on a sunny day is the best. But it's quite difficult to go by car.

Arimine Dam is a dam that can finally be reached through a narrow, dark tunnel called Arimine Forest Road and a narrow mountain road. As a mountain climbing, it will be the starting point for Mt. Yakushi. However, climbing from here is difficult. There is no transportation such as the Alpine Route among the Tateyama mountain range, and there is no other way but to walk by yourself. You can't go to the Northern Alps Mountain 々 unless you plan to stay for 2 nights in a mountain hut ~ 3 nights. Many tourists go from the Toyama Prefecture side and return on the same route again ...
It is a dam lake that can be seen from the bus heading to the oritachi at the trailhead when climbing Mt. Kurobe 々 (this time Mt. Kurobe Goro). The forest road is well maintained. Especially during the autumn leaves season in October.
