Tokyo
Tokyo is a city of superlatives. The world’s largest metropolitan area bursts at the seams. Everywhere you look there is something new and exciting. Bright lights and glamour, fashion and art, Tokyo is relentlessly modern. Yet walk a few blocks and you’re awash in its history. Temples, shrines, and glorious parks abound. There is literally something for everyone in Japan’s capital. In springtime the cherry blossoms fill Ueno Park. Summer’s long nights are perfect for strolling the famous shops and restaurants in Shinjuku. Fall’s excitement is palpable as temperatures break and the city’s nightlife is in full swing. In winter, Tokyo’s hot springs are a true delight and nearby Mount Fuji is absolutely stunning. Whether you’re a Japanophile or just someone who appreciates the simple things in life, you can find what you’re looking for in Tokyo.

E44***37Great experience. The haunted mansion was the best ride there with holograms that made me question reality. The park is easy to navigate and workers were very friendly. Day pass was about 7600 yen.

_We***23A beautiful temple in the centre of Asakusa. Easily accessible from the metro stop and worth visiting at day and night.
Ginza

_FB***97Ginza, Tokyo’s most popular shopping, dining and entertainment district, packed with branded shops and Michelin-starred restaurants. Main Street will be closed for pedestrian during weekends and shading chairs are provided for tourists to enjoy the afternoon sun and the busy walking crowds. Not recommend to spend much time here for shopping as you can find those branded stuff in other countries with a cheaper price tag, however I would strongly recommend you to go for their Michelin-starred restaurant, food is awesome, fresh, and price is affordable - for lunch menu (dinner is another price tag). Advance booking is always required.
Akihabara
4.5/5

Featured Neighbourhood
_FB***97Akihabara, one of my favorite places in Tokyo, is a paradise for all anime fans like me. Once you come out from Akihabara station, all anime, comic, games posters are everywhere. Arcade, UFO (doll catching machine), comic character models, you can find all your favourite characters here. We spent quite a lot of money on doll catching game, but somehow when you spent a certain amount and still unable to catch your doll, their friendly staff will give you a helping hand to ‘adjust’ the doll in an easy catch position, so... spend more and you will definitely get a doll home!

Spring is a time of rebirth. A time to cast off winter’s embrace. In Japan, spring heralds the coming cherry blossoms. For what seems like a fleeting instance, cherry trees flower in exquisitely delicate shades of white and pink. The soft colors signal promising times ahead. Some spend their entire lives chasing the bloom, looking for that perfect flower. For travelers aspiring to catch a glimpse of the annual miracle, this short article offers some background and suggests a few places to visit.
