    Beautiful

A small but very well tended Buddhist temple, just off from a busy main road. Wonderful gardens and accompanying buildings. Very beautiful indeed.

There is a graveyard at the family temple of "Kasuga Bureau" known as the nanny of the third shogun "Tokugawa Iemitsu".

    Original Text

We will disseminate information about "Rinshoin" in Yushima, Bunkyo-ku. I visited "Rinshoin" on October 31, 2023. To get to Rinshoin, take Exit 4 of Hongo Sanchome Station on the Toei Subway Oedo Line and go left to Kasuga-dori. Turn left on "Kasuga Dori Street" and go straight on the road about 370 m, and there is "Linshoin Mae Pocket Park" on your left hand, so turn left there. When you go about 50 m, you will find the gate of "Linshoin" in front of you. "...

The family temple of Kasuga Bureau

    Original Text

This is a temple of the Rinzai sect Myoshinji school located about 5 minutes along Kasuga-dori from Hongo Sanchome Station toward Okachimachi. (It is said that it is the family temple of Kasuga Bureau, known as the nanny of Iemitsu Tokugawa.) The precincts were full of greenery and quiet and nice.

A magnificent grave of Kasuga Bureau

    Original Text

「 There was also a monument 」, the birthplace of Toyo University. But the graveyard of Kasuga Bureau is the best. There are pairs of stone lanterns and tamagaki, which are very nice.
