Garibaldi Street is a very wide street, at least by Venetian standards, there are restaurants and cafes everywhere, and people’s daily lives are everywhere. Of course, there are also many tourists, starting from Piazza San Marco, walking east along the Grand Canal, crossing 7 bridges.
A very quiet street, now on both sides are mainly coffee shops and some small gift shops.
Compared to Piazza Venezia, Via Garibaldi is a place where there are not so many tourists. There are colorful houses on both sides of the street. There are also some restaurants and decoration shops with distinctive decorations. The windows are all beautifully designed. It is worth a stroll.
