The taste is already very good abroad! It is a surprise to be able to eat authentic Chinese food abroad, the environment is elegant, the Chinese style is full, the service is in place, recommended, especially recommended, seriously recommend important things three times.

The hotel and this restaurant opened way back in 1997 and I recall visiting the venue for our family Christmas lunch in December 1997. The hotel was renamed Carlton Palace a few months and is under new ownership and management. A friend and I decided to have our Iftar at Al Shindagah this evening. A decent spread of starters including soups and the standard Lebanese cold Mezze items. The mains were also decent although not too many in number but included the traditional Ouzi, Kibbeh, lamb and chicken kebabs, chicken biryani and fish. A live pasta station was also in situ. No shawarma however. What was disappointing was the desserts - I did not like any of the variety of baklava although the Um Ali was good. The buffet price was a very reasonable AED 99/- per head. Very few other diners around but we were advised a group of 30 had cancelled their reservation. Service therefore definitely not an issue.

We are guests at the hotel and fancied a quick snack at 9pm. The ambience is lovely, relaxed jazz music and a live trio at 10pm. Cocktails kinda pricey. Service good however menu pretty basic. We only ordered a soup and salad and they took 50 mins!!!! Also tasted bland and basic so God knows what took so long because it was dead. We left shortly after. I would say come for a drink not food.

Great decor Interesting Chinese RestaurantIt looks great, very much like a Hong Kong Chinese Restuarant. I went with a Chinese Chef. My meal was OK, the Chef i was with only consumed the rice. The fish dish he had was not nice. I spent most of the meal keeping flys off the food.

导游带过来的团餐的地方，面积相当大，整幢楼，好几个楼层，无数个包房。我就是不明白为什么出国旅游导游都要带你来吃中餐？难道国外的中餐会烧的有国内的好吗？这家店的餐还可以吧，可能是由于前一天的阿拉伯的菜更糟糕。这家餐厅顺便还做迪拜的房地产，有兴趣的了解一下。

The place where the tour guide brought the group meal is quite large, the whole building, several floors, countless private rooms. 在阿联酋还有这么正宗的中餐厅，太哇塞了吧！明火雪花牛肉，水煮鱼，海鲜很新鲜，青蟹很肥！值得推荐！

和中国国内口味没差别，甚至比国内还好吃，迪拜待了六天吃了两次，要不是离的远，我可以天天吃。下次酒店就定附近。性价比很高，环境也很好
