The portrait of Mr. Nitodo Inazo was once printed on the five thousand yen bill. He was once a technician at the Governor's Office of Taiwan during the Japanese occupation of Taiwan, and made outstanding contributions to the construction and development of Taiwan. It is a pity that the main building of the "Nitoto Inazou Memorial Hall" is currently considered a dangerous building and it is not suitable to visit.
It was established to commemorate Japanese scholars and opened to the public in 1960. The entire gardening project was designed and supervised by famous Japanese architects. The Japanese maple trees, cherry blossoms, Japanese potted plants, artificial lakes, pavilions and tea ceremony rooms in the garden exude the exquisiteness and depth of oriental gardens.
