You can find whatever seafood you desire in this all-encompassing merchant area, a beautiful one at that.
Nice area to walk though, relax or maybe grab a drink or just chill with the family. Some Creative shops with great merchandise.
AKA Vancouver Fisherman's wharf. Granville Island offers a variety of amenities: public market, arts and crafts, gourmet food courts, award winning restaurants, brewery, coffee shops, live music, water taxi, kids zone, marina to just name a few. Great place to soak in the relax Vancouver live style.
Photos were taken at Fisherman's Wharf which is just west of Granville Island. You can purchase FRESH fish right off the boat there!
Don't even bother to come to Vancouver without going to Granville Island. Your going to love it!
Artists abound, more great places to eat. Colourful shops, perfect spot to pick an authentically Vancouver souvenir.
This is an awesome area to explore (albeit a little difficult to get to -- I suggest walking rather than any form of motorized transport, because the traffic can get pretty horrendous). The place is bursting at the seems with food, art, and shops, plus there were a bunch of street performers there when we went. I love a good spontaneous comedy/magic show.
Huge silos painted by the Brazilian artists Osgemeos. Amazing art!
Adorable island with a large market to enjoy lots of food and Canadian specialities! There are also boat rentals and shops to enjoy.
