Kaitaiford Palace was originally named Taiwanese Dog Whistle Boat Head Kaitaiford Palace. It was renamed Kaitaiford Palace of Kaohsiung Sentinel Boat Head after its renovation in 1933. It is located at No. 35 Anhai Street, Gushan District, Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. It is said that it is the earliest land temple in Taiwan. There is a small path to the official residence of the British Consulate.
