Jinlong Mountain National Forest Park is situated in the southeast of the Harbin city area. Because of the primeval ecology of its natural environment, and its acclaim as "Harbin's back garden", it is a well known scenic spot for the maintenance of good health, enjoyment of leisure and as a summertime resort. But what causes people to become infatuated with this place are the red leaves which fill the hills in Autumn. The park was originally named the Hengtou Mountain National Forest Park. Within the park, forest scenery is of most importance. With the cliffs of Mount Cang as its skeleton, the clear springs and streams as its veins, and historic cultural features sewn amongst them, it forms a uniquely beautiful landscape.
