The place you definitely shouldn't visit this Qingming Festival, do you know why?
If you think Qingming Festival is just for tomb sweeping, then you might have missed a springtime miracle hidden in Wuhan's Shahu Park. A trip in early April last year got me so captivated by the beauty of this sea of flowers that I spent a whole year editing the photos!
In Wuhan, spring always seems to hurry by. Just as the cherry blossoms fall and the magnolias fade, the hydrangea quietly blooms. Shahu Park, located next to the bustling Chu River Han Street, offers tranquility and beauty starkly different from the city's hustle and bustle. Not only does it have the classical charm of a Chinese-style courtyard, but it also has vast lawns of green grass, providing a perfect spot for a weekend city stroll.
🏞️ Why say 'definitely don't go' during Qingming?
Because the beauty here is simply a 'trap' for photography enthusiasts. Once you pick up your camera, you'll find that no matter how you shoot, it's overwhelmingly beautiful, and even shooting from spring to summer isn't enough. The hydrangeas in Shahu Park, in particular, deserve a mention for their unique posture and color, becoming a bright scenic line in the park.
📸 Photography Tips:
• Early birds get to photograph the flowers: To avoid the crowds and fully enjoy the tranquility of this sea of flowers, it's recommended to start early.
• Seagull feeding moments: Shahu Park also has seagulls, and capturing them in the same frame as the flowers will be a very interesting thing.
• Dressing suggestions: White or light-colored clothing stands out in a sea of flowers and is suitable for taking photos.
So, this Qingming Festival, if you want to challenge your photography skills, or just want to find a bit of spring tranquility in a sea of flowers, Wuhan's Shahu Park is definitely a place not to be missed. Just don't forget to bring enough storage cards, because you might end up like me, shooting non-stop!
Neisha Lake Park, and Shahu Park is just one road away, originally should be connected together, just because of the road construction, it was divided into two lakes, the larger lake outside became a sand lake, and the inner sand lake was a corner.
On the early summer night, there was no wind, and the calm lake was not shocked. The reflection of the building reflected on the lake, forming an absolute symmetrical graphic. The sand lake bridge in the distance is brightly lit, like a jade belt. . .
I passed by Wuhan Shahu Park Area D by chance, and I was attracted by the environment of the mountains and rivers. This area should be newly opened not too long. The trail around the lake looks very new and beautiful at night.
