The historic Bell Tower from early Ming dynasty. I love how the city built its roads and new buildings around the Bell Tower. A perfect example of preserving history while developing the city.

"Dr. Bells and Drums" used to be the true life of Xi'an, an ancient city.
Milan Prince
The bell tower witnessed the vicissitudes of Xi'an City for hundreds of years, and it is also the most striking spiritual aspect of Xi'an. Looking out from the sky at night, the four streets of the east, west, north and south meet here. The bell tower inspires fascination as it is such a brilliant structure that stands in the centre of the city. The citizens of Xi’an are proud of this heritage.

The night in Xi'an is very beautiful, taking pictures late into the night. The collision between the cultural heritage of the emperor and modern fashion conveys us a subtle and inexplicable beauty of art.

Additional Information
Introduction
Xi'an Bell Tower is a relatively complete clock tower in China. It was built in the era of Zhu Yuanzhang in the Ming Dynasty and has a history of more than 600 years. As one of the landmarks of the ancient city, the clock tower is located at the center of Xi'an. It radiates into four streets in the east, south, west and north, and connects with the four gates of the east, south, west and north of the Xi'an city wall. The lower part of the bell tower is a square base. The top is covered with dark green glazed tiles, and the apex is wrapped in authentic gold. Against the backdrop of the night lights, the entire clock tower is stunningly beautiful.

钟楼,Many Chinese cities exposing their Drum Towers to visitors. Xi'an drum tower also became the landmark. There is nothing different compare to other cities except the size. This one is really bigger than other I have seen in many cities in northwest China. Located in exactly the middle of cross-road in the exact city center and oriented towards north, south, west and east, this fortification like frozen in time depicted the rules for planing if the city in ancient China. yeah, that filling, it really looks like a piece of past pasted in modern city with all these noisy roads and high buildings surrounding the Tower .Located in five minutes by walking from Hui Min jie walking street.
Adorable place, Even it was crowded with too many peaople but I did enjoy the crowd because of its historical items, I really like it, you can buy tickets underpass of Zhonglou subway station by automatic machines (ctrip app). I enjoy the old teapots, and the old soldiers statues. It was very nice place, I personnally high recommend it.
Nice to see during the day, but spectacular at night. Underneath is a circular tunnel to get pedestrians through the intersection of the road above, and has access to the metro. Did not go inside the tower itself.
Nit that impressive. A bit confusing how to get there. Inside there is just an exhibition which explains a bit the history of the tower. The problem is that most of that stuff is in Chinese.
