Chongyang Palace is one of the three major ancestral houses of Taoist Quanzhen School in China, as it was where Wang Chongyang—the master of Taoist Quanzhen School—used to live, cultivate, and be buried. The Jin dynasty, known as the "ancestral court of the world," used to enjoy the reputation of "Quanzhen Holy Land." The overall building of the Chongyang Palace still maintains the style of the palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties. According to the Taoist regulations and the history of the Chongyang Palace, the central axis of the palace is arranged in the Taoist palace. The monolithic architecture inherits the style of the high platform style in the Yuan dynasty. It is majestic, expressing the sacredness and dignity of Taoist ancestors, so as to satisfy the worship of Taoist believers at home and abroad. The east and west sides are divided into stele forest viewing and Taoists living areas. Together with Curved Bridge, Bamboo Shadow, and so on, it forms a fantastic world that intrigues people's imaginations.
Have been to drive, calculate the garden own a dream of martial arts
I went there on September 2, but the bus from Xi'an Bus Station to Zu'an Town was suspended, and it was not easy to find it. Take the high-speed rail from Xi'an to Huyi, take the high-speed rail to Huyi District 101 to the Bell Tower and turn 901 to the Chongyang Palace. From the small road east of the Chongyang Palace, turn right 2 kilometers north. In a small red brick courtyard, there are people working on it. Entering from the door, you will see the Chengdao Palace. The tomb of the living dead is here.
The Chongyang Palace is the ancestor of the Quanzhen School of Taoism in China, and it is also one of the Three Great Ways. This is the place where King Chongyang of the Jin Dynasty cultivated and became immortal, and it was also the birthplace of Quanzhen School. The Chongyang Palace is the largest Taoist temple in China, which reached its peak especially in the Yuan Dynasty. The rulers of the Yuan Dynasty designated it as the state religion, which was so impressive that no one could match it. In terms of scale, it is also the largest Taoist temple in Chinese history, but unfortunately it is much smaller now. The ticket is not expensive, 25 yuan, and you can visit for free if you apply for the Xi'an Tourism Annual Pass. The environment inside is quiet and antique, isolated from the hustle and bustle of the ancient town of Zu'an. There are a total of three halls and two small halls, which are dedicated to the ancestor Wang Chongyang, Taoist Sanqing, Quanzhen Seven Sons, and Zhenren. There is also a tomb of a real master in Yuan Dynasty and a 500-year-old ancient ginkgo tree. The Wang Chongyang Memorial Tower is a landmark building here, built to commemorate the 900th anniversary of the birth of Wang Chongyang.
not bad. The environment is good. You can get there from Xi'an by doing 4-12 to 913 and 901. The roads there are not good, but I am very baptized. I hope that I don't know how to cherish because of loss.
The ancestor of Quanzhen teacher Wang Chongyang must be known to everyone. This place is very remote and there were basically no tourists when I visited. Tickets are 25, halved for children. The scale of the building is small and Taoist priests live in it.
