Eastern Royal Tombs of the Qin Dynasty of Xi'an

Qin Dong Mausoleum is located at the west foot of Lishan Mountain in Lintong. Compared with the surrounding Huaqing Pond, Qin Shihuang Mausoleum, Terracotta Warriors and Horses and the ruins of Hongmen Banquet, the Qin Dong Mausoleum looks like a dwarf. It is precisely because of this that visiting the ancients here really has the taste of visiting the ancients. Four cemeteries were successively discovered in the Eastern Qin Tomb, all of which had defensive measures composed of natural channels and artificially excavated channels. A total of 3 tombs with the shape of "Asia", 2 with the shape of "Zhong", and the word "Jia" were found. 5 tombs. The No. 1 cemetery is built on the hillside, and the terrain is high in the east and low in the west. There are two "Asia"-shaped tombs, two accompanying pits, two accompanying tombs and four ground building foundations. Cemetery No. 2 is located about 1,500 meters northeast of Cemetery No. 1. In the middle is the "Zhong"-shaped tomb, and there are three "Jia"-shaped tombs. The No. 3 Cemetery is 1,500 meters southeast of the No. 1 Cemetery. In the cemetery, 1 large tomb with the shape of "Zhong", 4 small tombs and 2 building foundations were found in the cemetery. No. 4 Cemetery is located on the south bank of Xiaoyu River, across the river from No. 1 Cemetery. In the cemetery, one large tomb in the shape of "Asia" was found, two attached tombs in the shape of "Jia" on the south side, and one small group of accompanying tombs. According to archaeological excavations and historical records, King Zhaoxiang of Qin and Empress Dowager Tang, King Zhuangxiang of Qin and Empress Dowager Emperor, Prince Mourning and Empress Dowager Xuan are buried here. As for whether King Xiaowen and Empress Dowager Huayang were buried within the range of Qin Dongling, it is still controversial.
