The cathedral is a harmonious blend of Western and Chinese styles and uses both wood and stone. The sculptures on the facade are particularly beautiful. A classical Roman style is indicated with the use of arches. Both Western and Chinese details can be spotted in the details of decoration. Four rows of red lacquer pews are lined up neatly in the nave.
