Lao Theater Culture Park

The Old Theatre Cultural Park is a small street park with some traces of history left in it, and there is also a large stage for the people. Sometimes there will be performances of southern Fujian operas. You can go and see it when you pass by.

❤️ In Xiamen, not far from Zhongshan Road, a popular punch-in place, about 500 meters away, there is a small alley, not more than 100 meters long, less than 5 meters wide, it can be said to be the shortest street in Xiamen, it is the favorite food gathering place of old Xiamen people - Dayuan Road. There are several familiar old names hidden here: Lai Wei, Ajizai, Conghui, Yubao Wang, etc. A place on Dayuan Road that is often overlooked by tourists, old Xiamen talents understand, it now has a new name - the old theater cultural park. 🏯 The predecessor here is the Lijiang Theater. After half a century of storms, it became a dangerous house. In 2014, the old theater that had become a dangerous house was demolished, and an old theater culture theme park was built on the original site, successfully retaining the roots and soul of this old theater. Now walk into Dayuan Road, you can find this park in the middle section, where tourists will not stay, but is the favorite leisure place for surrounding residents. 📷 Main punching point: ✨ Old objects are the things you see most in this park, shabby door panels, yellowed road signs, faded puppets, everything is reminding you of the passage of time and the sense of existence in those years. ✨ Based on the background of the theater, there is a theme sculpture called "People who show movies" and a cultural wall shaped like film film, which can make people feel the film culture and entertainment of that era and the years that have passed. Many old Xiamen people return here. Still can find the feeling of the year. ✨ Danshui Lane, Datie Street, Nanzhuxing Lane, etc. These old Xiamen only understand the street and alley signs, embedded in the corner of the park, full of ancient flavor. With these abandoned wooden doors, the word "fu" in Dahong, forming a corner of "five blessings Linmen". ✨ The coffee essential for modern people is also integrated into the imprint of the times. In the corner of the park, a place called "Old Theatre Cafe" attracted my attention. ✨ The old theater cultural park is still a "block museum" that carries Xiamen's history and shows the life of the city. Looking at these objects full of memories in front of you, people seem to be sitting on a "time machine". Abacus, old-fashioned sewing machine, black and white TV, drama Facebook... Time seems to be going back 30 years. No wonder some say that the city's "root" and "soul" are retained here.

Old Theatre Cultural Park, located on Siming Dayuan Road in the old city of Xiamen, has become an indispensable scenery of this island city due to its distinctive theme and cultural characteristics and colorful cultural heritage. The Lijiang Theater in the middle of Dayuan Road was built in 1942 and is called "Jincheng Theater". In 1953, it was rebuilt and expanded to rename the Lijiang Theater. The Dayuan Road in the Lujiang Theater is one of the earliest roads in Xiamen and one of the shortest roads. Historically, Dayuan Road is a densely populated place, with well-developed industries such as catering, entertainment, groceries and services.
