Bali Museum

It is a tranquil monument, situated in the heart of a town full of tourists, a place not often visited by many people, but if you are in Bali, like history, or want to see great architecture, you must visit here. This is a well-preserved Cortan monument in a clean and green courtyard. If you come to visit, make sure to climb the spiral staircase to the top floor with a bird's eye view of this lovely island. Visit the museum to learn more about the history of Bali and Indonesia, their evolution and the struggle for freedom. Unfortunately, there is no information on the monument itself, nor any staff who can help us understand how old the place is, or who built the monument, etc.

Before going, I asked the driver. Although there are many Chinese tourists in Bali, there are not many people who will go to the Bali Museum in Denpasar. Many people in Europe, America and Australia will choose to go to the local Museum to learn about the history of Bali. Bali, one of the most important "hubs" linking Nusa Tenggara to the East and west, has found many sites throughout the island, unearthed stoneware, grinding stone, pottery, bronze, sarcophagus and other relics, as well as megalithic, Buddhist, Hindu and Han cultural relics. Although there are sites in Bali and nearby Longmu that I have discussed in my paper, I have not seen any research materials that I am familiar with here. This museum is indeed a little small.

The Bali History Museum has a local architectural style. In the museum, there are eight big pillars. A revolving staircase in the middle leads directly to the roof. It can overlook the city scenery of Bali. The museum displays the history of human development in Bali and the Bali people's stories against Dutch colonialists and Japanese aggressors. The museum is also a place where many young men and women take wedding photos.

Fantastic museum with interesting and attention-worthy collection. Don’t miss a chance for a unique culture fix while in Bali. Great to spend few hour and learn about Asian art and culture more than usual.

Most of the works are dated between 1840 and 1950. This museum holds the biggest painting exhibition I’ve seen so far in Bali. The rarest find was previously unknown to me portrait of Aleksander Pushkin

The gamelan music complemented the traditional artworks scene so well. I've been some of the best museums in Europe but none could match museum pasifika's atmosphere. 

The price is also affordable as well. I think it's worth the visit. there's a lot of cool and interesting statues and paintings and sculptures, Very cool place would visit again.
