Guangde Temple

Guangde Temple is the top ten ancient temples in Hubei. It was built in Tang Dynasty and rebuilt in the Ming Dynasty. During the Zhengde period, Wang Zeng quarreled with monks for the cemetery of the princess. Finally, it was arbitrationed by the Emperor Zhengde. Later, it was renamed Guangde Temple. When the thief and the soldiers broke into chaos, it was almost completely destroyed. During the reign of Xiancun, there was a multi-potted pagoda, and a ginkgo tree that was nearly 1,500 years old.

Guangde Temple, formerly known as Yunju Temple, is located 13 kilometers west of the county seat of Xiangyang , Hubei Province, adjacent to Gulongzhong, and is a famous ten-party jungle in the history of Buddhism in Hubei Province. In 1988, the Guangde Temple Duobao Pagoda was announced by the State Council of the People's Republic of China as one of the third batch of key cultural relics protection units in the country. Guangde Temple, founded in the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty, was first named "Yunju Temple". During the Chenghua period of the Ming Dynasty, the "Guangde Zen Forest" plaque was given by the Ming Xianzong Yubi, and it was changed to "Guangde Temple".

Guangde Temple was built next to the Gulongzhong Scenic Area. During the Ming Dynasty, Wang Qianzhong Temple's original site of Fengshui was built next to the temple. The tomb of the princess was built next to the temple. The monks of Guangde Temple had to withdraw from the temple. Later, the local clan was very dissatisfied, and the emperor mediated in the middle, so that the king paid for the re-establishment of the monastery on the current site. The monastery has three entrances, the first entrance is not eye-catching, the second entrance is very spectacular, the third entrance is even more amazing, there is a rare multi-pagoda, and a thousand-year-old tree that was sealed in the two dynasties, it is definitely worth seeing!

Anyang Guangde Temple, formerly known as Yunju Temple, was built in the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty. It has a history of more than 1,300 years. The temple is adjacent to the ancient Longzhong of the Three Kingdoms.
