The thousand household village, and the largest Miao village in China.
Set in the natural basin of a valley, surrounded by paddy fields, wooden houses on stilts (known as diao jiao lou, 豆角楼) rise up off the grounds covering the hillsides. Comprised of three storeys, the first usually is usually used for storage of tools and livestock; the second acts as the bedroom, living room, kitchen; the third is used to store grain and other products.
From long table banquets and colorful performances to incredible viewing decks and unique local eats, you’ll need to stay at least two days to experience everything Xijiang Miao Village has to offer.
📍Xijiang Miao Village, Guizhou, China
one day in China | GuiZhou.
Natural and I really love this place.
Xijiang thousand households Miaozhai
heart for a few years of Xijiang thousand household Miao Village, today finally got their wish. After
color reached fire, some people compared it to the color of Guizhou. In fact, it is completely different styles.
This is China's largest Miao Village. It is really spectacular from the observation deck.
The only regret is that today's power outage, did not see a beautiful night scene, I hope tomorrow night can.
Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village Zhijindong
A beautiful village full of Miaojia style.
Come to the observation deck of Miao Village, between the beautiful landscapes, overlooking the whole village, do not have a view.
Walk on the street and look at the beautiful slings, you may think of many.
Every place on the street here is your best background, and every picture can make your beauty fresh and refined.
The main thing here is to find a beautiful inn, it is best to overlook the whole village, so that you can see the most beautiful scenery in the morning or evening.
Entering the cave is like entering another world. The space inside is wide, with upper, middle and lower floors, for a while, for a while. Along the way, there are pinnacles, stalagmites, and stone pillars in various poses. The scale is huge and the form is numerous.
There is a magnificent "underground Tallinn", the illusory "Tieshan Cloud", the endless "silent mountains", the "100-foot curtain", and the endless "Guanghan Palace". The mysterious "Ling Temple", the heroic "silver rain tree", the slender "Curly Stone", the lifelike "Pu Xian Ri Xiang", "Wo Xi Qing"...
Every attraction There are explanations, listening to the words carefully, and then looking at these landscapes, it is very similar.
Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village is a very large village of the Miao, one of China's minority groups, and is composed of more than a dozen smaller villages built on the side of the mountain. Within the village are the Miao group's unique wooden houses, called Diaojiaolou. At night, when all the lights of these houses turn on, the view is beautiful. When you come to Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, in addition to enjoying the scenery, you'll also experience the Miao's way of living. Here you can enjoy a special "long table feast," as well as a variety of Miao specialties, which are mostly sour and spicy.
