Travel Guide for a 3-day, 2-night Trip to Xishuangbanna with a 70-year-old Elder
The elder has some mobility issues, so we avoided distant attractions and focused on those in the city area, visiting only 1-2 spots per day, which was just the right amount of activity. The itinerary included elephants, peacocks, the Water-Splashing Festival, temples, tropical plants and flowers, traditional Dai dwellings, and night markets, essentially capturing the essence of Xishuangbanna.

Very satisfied, Xiao Li explained well, the service was thoughtful, there were questions to answer carefully, and the itinerary was well arranged. There is no invisible consumption, it is really good, not bad.
The scenic spot is worth promoting, the water splashing link is particularly good, the host is enthusiastic to lead the jumping di super happy, the whole shuttle bus, the price is reasonable. Warm reminder, go to the scenic spot around 12:30 noon, except that the parking is a bit crowded, everything else is OK, go to participate in the first water splashing activity, go to the afternoon to get traffic jams, try to go as early as possible to go to the card point.
Xishuangbanna has pleasant scenery and special characteristics, especially the Yi Nationality Park, with a beautiful environment and thousands of ethnic customs. I am going to live next time for 1-2 months. The locals are also very enthusiastic and are a good place for leisure.
The Yi Nationality Garden is indeed one of the must-see attractions, especially when you come here to experience the Songkran Festival activities. If you have the conditions, you can prepare the atmosphere on the clothes side to supercombust. In addition, remind those who can ride a battery car not to buy a scenic shuttle bus, the queue is very long and very unfree. After I went in, I rented an electric car directly inside for 60 yuan a afternoon. It was too convenient. Where to ride, where to stop. Basically, I rode 20 kilometers in the park in the afternoon and basically turned several times. It was not realistic to walk. I also deliberately passed through the most remote farmland in the scenic spot to the edge of the Weilan River, and I just saw the yacht passing by here. The scenic spot is full of local villagers' buildings, and all kinds of fruits are planted at the door. It is not recommended to go to the north of the scenic spot in the direction of the small train. It is purely boring to go to the farmhouse. Those who live in the city directly go to Banna Bus Station and take a car to the Yi Nationality Garden for more than 10 yuan. When they come back, they also take a taxi back to Gaozhuang Night Market for dinner. Basically, I have been in this mode for three days without having to take a taxi or drive by myself.
I took the elderly and took two scenic sightseeing cars because of the trouble of queuing. There are performances in the water splash square and the theater in the scenic area, everyone pay attention to the performance time. There are also Dai villages and markets in the scenic area, you can buy delicious food, and the price is not expensive. Worth a visit. Sightseeing car, if you don't bring the elderly and children, you can not buy it. Because the distance between the attractions is not far.
On the 12th, I drove by myself. Beijing friends with their parents must bring free tickets with their old age certificates. Just buy a battery car. I rushed to the water splashing show at 3:30 pm in the Yi Nationality Garden. It was fun to follow the Judi and it was very lively. Then slowly take the battery car to visit is not tired, the battery car will get off work at 6 o'clock in the evening, master the time.
The Yi Nationality Garden is quite interesting, perfect to reflect the characteristics of the Yi Nationality. Some villages are composed of scenic spots. You can buy some fruits grown by the villagers, eat fruits that have never been eaten, and some fruits that have been eaten. It is also delicious in the local area. After all, it is ripe fruit on the tree. There are also water splashing activities in it, which is also very lively. There is also a snack market, as well as the border pier, the Golden Triangle yacht. Everyone can experience it. The border pier has seen a lot of film shooting scenes. It is more interesting and physically good. You don’t need to buy a battery ticket. You can also walk down. There is also a homestay inside, you can also experience the characteristics of the family, the overall feeling can be
It is worth a visit. There are five stockades and four Buddhist temples in the Yi Garden. The water splashing performance is very lively and everyone is very happy. The host instantly brought the atmosphere into the climax of Judi. I also visited the Golden Pagoda and the White Pagoda, which was generally good. Finally, walk around the village and buy fruit to eat, take photos.
