About Xuchang: Xuchang (also known as Liancheng or 'Lotus City') is located in central Henan. In ancient times, the city occupied an important strategic location and once served as the capital during the Eastern Han dynasty. Today, Xuchang is one of China's biggest producers of tobacco and Chinese medicine. Popular attractions include the military offices of the Han dynasty warlord Cao Cao, Huadu Hot Springs Resort, Shenhou Ancient Town, Chunqiu Temple Complex and Yanling Gardens.
