Cemetery
The Qinling Mausoleum was constructed in the year 684 and is one of the rare places in China - or even the world - where emperors from two dynasties and an imperial husband and wife are interred. Emperor Gaozong of Tang (Li Zhi) and his wife Wu Zetian, China’s only empress, are interred here. This mausoleum is also one of the few imperial tombs in China that has not been looted. The Qinling Mausoleum Scenic Area is quite large. In addition to the Qinling Mausoleum itself, it also contains many “companion tombs” (peizangmu) in which members of the imperial court and major ministers are buried. The tombs of Prince Zhanghuai, Crown Prince Yide, and Princess Yongtai are currently being excavated.

Mountain
Xiang Shan is located on the Northwestern side of the Liu Lin Yao Cun, 45 kilometers Northwest of Tong Chuan Yao Zhou City. It is comprised of the intersection of the Eastern, Western and Central peaks. The three peaks in this order resemble a brush rack pointed vertically at the heavens, and were also given the names, "Three Stone Mountain" or "Brush Rack Mountain." They became known as Xiang Shan or "Fragrant Hills" in the Qing Dynasty. The three peaks are surrounded by mountains revealing a lush green backdrop, refreshing to the senses.

Dafosi Grottoes is located at the foot of Mount Qingliang in Binxian County, Xianyang. It was built in the second year of the Zhenguan period during the Tang Dynasty (628 AD). Dafo Temple was originally named Qingshou Temple. The cave of the cliff was used to make stone statues, and over 1000 statues of different sizes have been made. Tang Emperor Li Shiming had it built for the soldiers who perished in the Chenzhou Qianshuiyuan Battle. It is now a Major Historical and Cultural Site Protected at the National Level.
