It is a Buddhist Zen monastery built by the Big Stone Buddha of the Northern Wei Dynasty. It has a history of nearly a thousand years. The Big Buddha of the Northern Wei Dynasty in the Great Buddha Hall. The stone Buddha is a seated bust, more than ten meters high. It was carved from a huge rock on the mountain cliff in the late Northern Wei Dynasty. In the thirty-fourth year of Emperor Kangxi (1695), the body of the Buddha was reproduced, and the main hall is now rebuilt for the Ming Dynasty. Xinghua Temple was built in the early Ming Dynasty on the east side of Yunlong Mountain. It was originally built for the stone Buddha of the Northern Wei Dynasty. There are still many Ming Dynasty buildings in the temple. There are more than one hundred cliff statues from the Tang and Song dynasties in the temple.
