It is a Buddhist Zen monastery built by the Big Stone Buddha of the Northern Wei Dynasty. It has a history of nearly a thousand years. Xinghua Temple was built in the early Ming Dynasty on the east side of Yunlong Mountain. It was originally built for the stone Buddha of the Northern Wei Dynasty. There are still many Ming Dynasty buildings in the temple. There are more than one hundred cliff statues from the Tang and Song dynasties in the temple.
