Small shrine squeezed onto a corner near Sannomiya station
This is a very small shrine just on a corner in Kobe near Sannomiya station. While it does not have much land for plants it does still have enough spring blossoms to make it worth stopping for a look...
Red and white plums are in bloom (as of February 12, 2024)
Original Text
After watching the Spring Festival in Nanjing Town, on the way to Königskrone, I was invited to visit by the red plum blossoms. Not as red plums, but white plums were also in bloom. It is a small shrine in the middle of the downtown area. You can see the magnificent Church of St. Morgan in the back.
It is a shrine that stands near the Motomachi Daimaru Department Store, a big city in Kobe. Perhaps because I went there in the evening, there was a rope so that I could not enter the precincts. This time I will go a little earlier.
It is a shrine diagonally opposite Daimaru in Motomachi, Kobe. The precincts are enshrined in a site that is not very large. There is a monument to the Kobe incident at the corner.
