Nanjing Yeshan National Mine Park

Located in the northernmost area of Nanjing, Liuhe District is the original Yeshan iron ore. After a part of the mine was restored, it became a national mining park. It is currently free and suitable for children to come and learn to exercise long knowledge.

This belongs to Nanjing Liuhe, not to Anhui Tianchang, the mine has a history of thousands of years since Xizhou, showing the style of the mining area for decades, parking, free tickets. Because the price of steel has fallen for so many years, production has been stopped. 700 meters from the Yeshan Museum, there is a small mine train halfway, which has been dilapidated, making you feel that vicissitudes of history, you can take pictures. Along the way, those living areas, leisurely roadside kittens, may be the place where generations of people have struggled in the mine, maybe their next generation has been far away from here, but you can think of the big production in person, the street people are squeaking, commuting and riding bicycles, sitting on the bus and the small train scene. There are not many people in the entire Yeshan Street. The people who see are either elderly people, migrant workers from other places, or rare tourists. It is very quiet and comfortable. I walked along the scenic spot for a while. I feel that the overall marketing method and the way of visiting need to be changed. I believe it will be better. The red years, the history of struggle, pay tribute to the hard-working mine workers.

In the 1970s, I lived in Yeshan for seven years. In the past, the small train in Yeshan Iron Mine pulled iron ore and went directly to Nanjing Iron and Steel Factory. The small train also pulled a passenger car to Nangang. Then transfer the coach to Nanjing.

There are not many people, but it feels good to walk around and take the small train.

First find the Yeshan Iron Mine Museum (this is not difficult to find), if you drive, the navigation destination is set to the Yeshan Iron Mine Museum (do not set to the Yeshan National Mine Park, because the road sign direction and navigation direction of the town are different, and you will not know which way to go). If you take the bus, the place to get off is the museum. There is a basketball court next to the museum. There is a cement road on the edge of the basketball court. Follow this cement road directly to the mine park. You can park at the entrance of the mine park and the basketball court. There is no charge. The park is also free.
