St. Paul's Church

Nanjing's famous Christian Church is located on Taiping South Road in the city center, about two-thirds of Xinjiekou to Confucius Temple. The main building of the church has a history of nearly 100 years, and a new building is built on the side. Free open.

After dinner, on the way back to the hotel, I met St. Paul's Church. It is said to be the first official Christian chapel in Nanjing and the earliest existing building in Nanjing Christianity. The establishment of St. Paul's Church can be said to have been two years, it began to be site-selection and construction in the late Qing Dynasty, which underwent renovation and reconstruction, until the 11th year of the Republic of China was officially completed. The current church building still retains one large and small church built during the Republic of China, and has been used, its architectural style is designed in the retro-style style of the Western popular style at that time, which belongs to the small scale typical Western European rural church model.

Nanjing St. Paul's Church is located on Taiping South Road, near Changfu Street subway station. Nanjing's earliest Christian chapel is said to be the prototype of Jinling 13th Temple. I’m a Catholic and I visited this church during Christmas 🎄 it was beautiful and I met a Chinese lady there who’s really good in English. she told me about the chapel and the mass schedule.This church is a Historical place , worth visiting !
