About Wang's Little Garden

Wangshi Xiaoyuan is an impressive residence of a local salt merchant in the late Qing Dynasty and early Warlord Era. _x000D__x000D_The owner of the gorgeous house, Wang Zhuming, was originally an Huizhou merchant. His residence is one of the most spectacular and majestic buildings of that era. The layout of the house exudes the culture of its time. It is elegantly decorated and has a beautiful garden. The architectural style of the house combines the beauty of Anhui Huizhou Sanjiao and Jiangnan Gardens. The furniture and furnishing is exquisite and integrates western styles with local style. _x000D__x000D_In the back garden of Wang's Little Court, there is a paper-cut museum. It was built by Wang Zhuming in order to exhibit Chinese paper-cut art to the public, protect the art from perishing and also to study and popularize it
