Zixia Lake in Autumn ColoursZixia Lake is one of my favorites in Nanjing. The lake is inside the Purple Mountain scenic area and a small paradise inside the big city. 🚶You can hike there, swim, have a picnic or just enjoy the nature. During the whole year, some locals are swimming there. Beautiful Zixia LakeSwimming in the nature but don't wanna go far away? Zixia Lake is in the middle of the city and it still seems like far away nature. It's really a small paradise. Not too many people, clean water and a green surrounding. It's in the middle of Zhongshan mountain, a km above the Ming tombs. It's kind of half way to the mountain top. 🏊🌳🌄 You need to pay the Ming tomb park entrance ticket (80元), so if you wanna swim/hike frequently, better buy the year card.
