Impressions of Changbo
The Changzhou Museum is located at No. 1288 Longcheng Avenue, Xinbei District, Changzhou City, with 2 basic exhibitions, 2 thematic exhibitions and 3 temporary exhibition halls. The basic exhibitions are "Longteng Zhongwu - Changzhou Ancient History and Culture Exhibition" and "Magical Nature Beautiful Home - Changzhou Children's Nature Exhibition"; the thematic exhibitions are "Xie Zhiliu Art Exhibition" and "Mr. Liu Guojun's Donated Mahogany Furniture Exhibition"; the temporary exhibition halls hold various special exhibitions and touring exhibitions from time to time.
At present, Changzhou Museum has more than 30,000 pieces/sets of collections, including 51 national first-class cultural relics (1 national treasure), 245 second-class cultural relics, and 3,147 third-class cultural relics. The characteristic cultural relics include Liangzhu jade, original celadon from the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, Song and Yuan lacquerware and porcelain, and Ming and Qing calligraphy and painting.
The Changzhou Museum has the first children's natural museum in the country and the only one in Jiangsu Province, with nearly 5,000 kinds of natural specimens, about 10,000 pieces, divided into six major series featuring fur animals, marine animals, domestic and foreign fine insects, regional Chinese herbal medicines, mineral crystals and ancient biological fossils. Among them, the Confucius bird fossil, Wengrong snail, golden beak phoenix butterfly and a batch of fossils and biological specimens are rare in the world and have extremely high scientific value.
After a round, the most impressive thing is the Southern Dynasty portrait brick. The brick has a relief-style imprint, the composition of the portrait brick is concise, the lines are smooth, the artistic abstraction is extremely strong, and the patterns are mostly warriors and maids; the pattern bricks are mostly arranged in order, or decorated as borders, with dragon patterns, phoenix patterns, lion patterns, tiger patterns, Tianlu patterns, Pixie patterns, flying fairy patterns, human-headed bird patterns, beast-faced bird patterns, six-petal scroll leaf patterns, scroll grass patterns, round wave patterns, rhombus patterns, diagonal fine patterns, etc.
When I went there, I happened to catch the "Three Stars Dazzling" - Jintan Sanxing Village Site Special Exhibition. The Sanxing Village site unearthed a total of more than 4,000 various cultural relics such as pottery, stone, jade, bone, horn, tooth, and clam, the number is large, the value is great, and the fine artifacts are extremely rare in the same period of primitive culture in China. Among them, the number of bone, horn, tooth, and clam utensils is large and well-made, and the engraved plate-shaped utensils are unprecedented, which may be related to primitive religion, witchcraft, etc. The colored pottery beans with cloud and thunder patterns are the earliest evidence of cloud and thunder patterns seen so far. The distribution of graves in the site is very dense, the human bone specimens in the grave are hard, and most of the skull bones are intact, which is rare in the same period sites in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River. The discovery of the site provides strong evidence for studying major academic issues such as the cultural type and origin of civilization in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River in the Neolithic Age.
The moving line was a bit messy, and I watched it for almost 3 hours. The content is not particularly rich, and the ancient bronze mirror special exhibition is too watery. I saw some interesting things, especially Qi Liang Talent, and learned the story of Lanling Xiao's move to the south.
Changzhou Museum is not comparable to other large museums, and the collections inside are also very limited. There are three floors, the second floor mainly introduces the local history and culture of Changzhou, and there is a Children's Natural Museum on the third floor. The first floor is every season. The pavilion will be converted.
There is a city in the Yangtze River Delta, which can be said to be a treasure in the treasure, and the city is called Changzhou. When you come to Changzhou, more people will choose to go to the Chinese Dinosaur Park or Yancheng Spring and Autumn Paradise. These two attractions have indeed become the tourist symbol of Changzhou, but if you want to better understand Changzhou, walk into Changzhou, I recommend everyone to take half a day to punch in the Changzhou Museum. Changzhou Museum is really one of the most low-key national-level museums I have ever seen. It is not mentioned in many mailings, but it holds the oldest memory of Changzhou. The museum has three floors, in addition to the fixed display of ancient Changzhou history and culture, here is the center of Changzhou culture and technology, which immediately reminded me of Wuxi Museum, but also has such a scientific and educational role. I was very lucky to see the special exhibition of Chinese porcelain during the visit of Changzhou Museum, one after another porcelain, showing us Chinese art and Chinese cultural confidence, standing in front of these porcelain, can not be calm for a long time, do not know how powerful the ancients have hands, To create such a great art If you come to the Changzhou Museum, you must avoid Monday, because Monday is a day when almost all museums in China are closed, and other times only need to make an appointment on the public account.
Changzhou is not big, but the history is very long, so I specially arranged a half-day visit to Changzhou Museum. The 2,500-year history of building a city has left a strong history and humanities pen and ink here. It is still worth seeing. Special thanks to the high guide for explaining 👍
