E49***88Nice view with traditional Japanese atmosphere. I went there in April 2019, the weather was warm (upto 26-28C during day time) Stayed in Otaru for 2 nights, so I can see the different views during daytime and night time. Like Otaru Canal very much, the canal, fresh air and the view seems liked bring you back to 100 years ago. Wanted to go again in Winter time, must be a very different scenes.
行走地球的猫The Otaru Music Box Museum is very close to the South Otaru Station. It takes only five or six minutes to walk from the station. There is a large iconic steam bell at the door, so you will not miss it. Walking in is like entering the world of fairy tales. The sound of Ding Ding Dong Dong music is endless, and the shape of the music box has its own merits. Cartoon, traditional, elegant, and romantic are all so exquisite and dazzling. There are antique music boxes from all over the world upstairs. You can also choose your favorite music box to buy, the price ranges from a few hundred yen to tens of thousands of yen, and there are many choices. And don’t forget to sit next to the bear and make a card to remember this wonderful moment.
行走地球的猫Beiyi Whistle Museum is actually a glass shop. The glass products of Neon Country are exquisite in workmanship, beautiful in shape and colorful. Beiyi Whistle Hall is a famous shop, and the products are even more exquisite. If you have the conditions to carry it, you can buy a few beautiful things you like, which is definitely more reliable than Haitao. If you have the opportunity, you can try to make it yourself, isn't it more meaningful?
C-xiao-tongIt would be more romantic if it’s snowing. I saw the fairy tale crossroads in the circle of friends. I was really looking forward to it. But when I came here, I only felt that there were tourists everywhere and there was no snow. Where can the fairy tales come from? Words. However, the surrounding buildings are quite beautiful. There is a high-tower LeTAO main store. The white and white building is a fairy tale; there are also the music of steam bells from time to time, and the dazzling array of music boxes in the Music Box Hall. , Can make people happy instantly.
Nikka distillery has a branch in Yoichi area. This is about 6 min walk from the Yoichi station and very convenient with public transportation. The upside of this distillery is that you can visit with a guided tour (Japanese only and with pre appointment) or a self guided tour at any time of the day. The tour is user friendly and the hospitality is generous. Here you taste a few of their classic whisky without any obligations.
