Cape Zanpa Lighthouse

The Remnants Lighthouse in the Remnants is an important attraction on the west bank of Okinawa. The Remnants itself is on the westernmost side of Okinawa's island. It is the most famous place in Okinawa to watch the sunset. Here you can see the last sunset in Okinawa. The name of the Remnants is due to the waves left by merchant ships passing through the Straits in ancient times. Every December to April, there is also the chance to see whale spraying offshore.

The Remnants Lighthouse is located at the end of the Remnants Lighthouse in Okinawa Island, Okinawa Prefecture. It is a large lighthouse with white soil powder. The surrounding area is designated as the National Park of the Okinawa Coast. The cliff wall of the cliff is 30m high and extends about 2km long, showing a vast and majestic landscape.

Just at the beach of Rembo, the lighthouse is very high, you can go up, you need tickets. The surrounding sea is good, walk around, up to half an hour, it is worth coming to see, there are not many people here, it is very windy, the scenery is good.

Remnants are a photo holy place for lighthouse lovers! Not far from Naha city, there are some signs on the city streets to guide, choose a sunny day, take a star at night, and then spend a night, take a sunrise and sunrise early the next morning, blue sky. On a sunny day, the sky is full of stars, and the Milky Way can be seen faintly. With the beams of lighthouses around the corner, how beautiful! Bring a footstand and a SLR, adjust the exposure time, and let the camera play freely.

It is not a popular attraction in Okinawa, so there are not many tourists, but there are various benefits, you can take pictures at will. Although the lighthouse is under maintenance, it does not affect the viewing of the photo. I specially chose to take the sunset in the evening and use the lighthouse as the background. Unfortunately, the clouds were slightly thicker that day, not enough to highlight the beauty of the lighthouse.
