The Xiong'er Mountain National Geological Park is located near Zaozhuang City in Shandong Province, and makes up a small group (Gu, small hill precipitous all round but flat on the top) in the southern part of the Taiyi Mountains. Taking Xiong'er Mountain as the main body, it integrates the natural wonders of the Shuanglong Rift Valley, the Karst Cave Group and the Labyrinth Cave. It is a geological and geomorphological spectacle of limestone that is rarely seen in China. Its main peak looks like a big bear ear, hence the name, Xiong'er (the bear ear) Mountain.
