When it comes to Zhangjiajie, people might think of the Grand Canyon Glass Bridge in between the lush green high mountain rocks when they visit here for the first time. I will marry you will walk over this bridge with me. This sentence has turned Zhangjiajie’s reputation into a popular tourist site. But in fact, the essence of Zhangjiajie's heavenly beauty lies in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The forest park contains five scenic spots, including Tianzishan Scenic Area, Shili Gallery Scenic Area, Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, Jinbianxi Scenic Area, and Yangjiajie Scenic area. There are countless green and high mountains and rocks in the scenic spots. Like a place where angels might have lived. It is heavenly beautiful, adventurous and amazing.

A ticket gets you four days access to the national park in Zhangjiajie which opening in 1982 and inspired some scenes in the first Avatar movie!
It was amazing trip! The weather was not so great as we expected, but we saw beautiful nature and enjoyed every moment. Hope to visit national park one more time in good weather and see more beautiful places. Totally recommend to visit!!!
Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is the main attraction of Zhangjiajie. It is famous for its sandstone landforms, precarious peaks, limpid streams, dense forests, and large karst caves. More than 3,000 mountain peaks of various shapes are congregated here in the park, forming a spectacular scenery. The park was thrust into foreign travelers' eyes after the booming success of the movie “Avatar”, in which the Hallelujah Mountains were inspired by the Heavenly piller of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The main attractions in the park are Yuanjiajie, Tianzi Peak, Golden Whip Stream and Yellow Stone Village. The mountains have peculiar shapes, often surrounded by fog and mist giving visitors a view similar to the drawings of a traditional chinese painting.
