Peace Village

The former site of Heping Village is in the ancient town of Zhenyuan, Guizhou, and is a shelter for Japanese prisoners held by the National Government during the War of Resistance. The gate is a two-story building, with conference rooms and guard duty rooms, etc., and then an auditorium.

The former site of Heping Village is on the south side of Heping Street, Zhenyuan Acropolis, sitting south to north, for a group of buildings surrounded by tall earth and stone walls. It was originally the Zhenyuan General Military Administration in the late Qing Dynasty, and was changed to the second model prison in Guizhou Province at the beginning of the Republic of China. During the War of Resistance Against Japan, it was the second Japanese prisoner shelter of the National Government. Japanese anti-war writer Katima Katima called it the square wall of the Peace Village, which is 66 meters wide and 78 meters deep.

Zhenyuan Heping Village is known as the "Zhenyuan Heping Village Task Force of the Japanese People's Anti-War Revolutionary Alliance Association in China", which was originally the second model prison in Guizhou Province of the National Government. The former site of Zhenyuan "Heping Village" (Second Day Prisoner's Office) is the only well-preserved prisoner shelter in the country. It is a historical witness to Japan's aggression against China.
