Qinglong Temple

Qinglong Temple, also known as Shifo Temple, is located in the northeastern part of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda in the southern suburbs of Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, on the original Leyou, which is the south of Xinchangfang in Tang Chang'an City. It covers an area of 120 mu. Qinglong Temple is located on the original Leyou with high terrain and elegant scenery. The predecessor is the inspiration temple, built in the second year of the emperor of the Kaikai (582). Tang Wude four years (621), inspiration temple waste; Jingyun two years (711), changed to Qinglong Temple. In the Ming Dynasty, Qinglong Temple monasteries were destroyed, the ground buildings were not preserved, and the temple site was buried underground. Qinglong Temple is a scenic spot in Xi'an City. In 1996, the site of Chang'an City of Daxing Tang, including the site of Qinglong Temple, was announced by the State Council of the People's Republic of China as the fourth batch of key cultural relics protection units nationwide.
