Lindenhof is the atrium of the Bodhi tree. As its name suggests, it is situated on a small hill covered by linden trees. It is a historic oasis and observation deck in the center of the city. With the Limmat River in the foreground, it is the ideal place to enjoy the sights of the Roman Cathedral from the right bank. Here you can often see some leisurely people playing chess while watching the scenery. Walk along the river, where you can quietly admire the high and low staggered old city ramps on the east bank of the Lema River, overlooking the lakes of Zurich and Zurich in the distance.
