When I was taking a walk from Hayama to Zushi Station, I could see a thick cherry tree from the bus street, so when I stopped by, I found the tomb of the sixth generation. In the last blood of the Taira family, bunkaku shonin pleaded for minamoto no Yoritomo's life, but when Yoritomo died, he was executed around the nearby tagoe Gawa river.

Do you know "Tomb of the Sixth Generation Gozen"? Kamakura City is located in the northwestern part of the Miura Peninsula, northwest of Zushi City facing Sagami Bay. There is a "Tomb of the Sixth Generation Gozen" on Sakurayama, located on the south side of Zushi City. The sixth generation Gozen is the great grandson of Taira no Kiyomori. The childhood name was given to the sixth generation because it was counted from Taira no Masamori. Therefore, it was called the sixth generation Gozen. This tomb in front of the sixth generation, which appeared in the Heike Monogatari, was visited when I took a walk from Zushi Station. The landmark was a large zelkova tree, and there was a grave below.

It feels like it's protected by a big cherry tree.

It is near Tokutomi Ashika Park. The sixth generation Gozen is the son of Taira no Koremori and the great grandson of Taira no Kiyomori, and it seems that it comes from the sixth generation counting from Taira no Masamori. He was a priest once, but it is said that he was captured again and executed in the Tagoshi River. Tombstones are built as protected by a large fir tree, but somehow there is a sad atmosphere.

The location displayed on the map was different, so I corrected it. It is on the way from Zushi Station to Asaka Memorial Park.
