Holiday Villas in West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia

An oasis on the north side of the island Lombok. You like your privacy? Rent one of the cozy cabins situated around the swimming pool. It's very green inside the resort that blocks for the most part the entries of the cabins. Each cabin has a little veranda. The owner and his staff are great!! Very helpful with everything and always ready to share a smile. After a day out on one of the rented scooters the resort has, you feel like coming home. And a dive and sitting around the swimming pool is so nice when you're on a holiday. The beach is just a 5 minutes walk away and you can easily walk 25 minutes to town for your shopping or lunch or dinner, but the resort has facilities too. The bathroom is seperate from the bedroom which has its convenience. In short, Thalia's Villa hotel is a place to come back to. I can recommend this holiday spot.

Probably not worth it for a long stay (we stayed a week. 3-4 nights were fine. The villa was a bit tired, and a few tiles had chipped off in the pool. Mostly on the walls, so it wasn't particularly uncomfortable. It seemed like there wasn't enough furniture in the living room for a 3-bedroom villa. There were three of us, and it was tight. Six people wouldn't fit in the living room. The view is superb. The restaurant is good, but not cheap, even compared to other 5* hotels. By the way, the room service menu has higher prices for the same dishes than in the restaurant itself. I've never noticed that before. The staff is nice. The beach is nice, but not for swimming; the waves roll in both at high and low tide. There were a lot of pestering people. You can go to the right if you're facing the sea, about 25 minutes away, where there are nice wild beaches with calm and clear water (pictured).

The room is very natural, surrounded by green wild bushes, the shopkeeper has a place to cook rice and barbecue, if you live for a long time, you can consider buying seafood for cooking. There is a souvenir shop at the entrance, you can go shopping!

Mixed feelings — kind staff but disappointing overall. First of all, a big thank you to the hotel staff, who were genuinely kind and attentive throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the issue isn’t the people — it’s the property itself. The photos online look beautiful, but in reality, the finishes and details just don’t match the pictures. Everything feels a bit cheap and unfinished. For example, the pool area has small sofas but no cushions, so you can’t really relax comfortably by the water. In the rooms, several things were off — cracked flooring, a broken window, missing door handles (you have to lock the door from inside or outside every time), and other small issues that really add up. Considering the price, it’s quite disappointing, especially when there are nicer hotels nearby for less money. We stayed in the Villa Fuego, which, as you can see on Google Maps, is located right next to the road — meaning it’s noisy, with scooters constantly passing by. It completely breaks the idea of a quiet, romantic getaway in a “private villa.” It’s a real shame, because the staff do their best, but the overall experience doesn’t live up to the expectations or the price. Sadly, despite the warm hospitality, we left feeling that this stay was not worth it.

The best thing is the location if you want to climb Pergasingan. It is just 5 mins walk away. It is also near to the rinjani permit office and surrounding food places. The breakfast is scramble eggs and toast. As with most places here, there is a mosque nearby so you need to know that morning prayers might affect your sleep.

Nothing but good things to say about Kalea Villa. Their manager, Fani was very attentive, she had contacted me prior to check in to ensure the room would be ready in time, i informed that i would be a little late and they waited for me to settle in. The staffs were also friendly they suggested us places to go for food and sunsets which was very helpful since we didnt detail out our plans here, we just wanted to do whatever for the day. They also helped to arrange motorbike rentals and airport transfer at a reasonable price. The villa was perfect, it was beautiful, private, clean, as expected from the pictures. And their services just made the whole stay very enjoyable for us.

The location is very good, and the service of the girl at the front desk was very good. She helped me dump the photos in the GoPro card. The breakfast was also OK. It is a very cost-effective hotel!

We were greeted by a wonderful team. The place is serine and clean with huge bathroom. The bed is fantastically comfortable, this includes the extra bed that we have requested for triple sharing. We booked a Duplex with private swimming pool. Breakfast was served in-house or @restaurant. The restaurant is at the hilltop with a beautiful view which adds to the plus point staying here. Will surely return to this resort.
