The Northern promotion: The promoter of this offer is Northern Trains Limited (trading as Northern), whose correspondence address is Northern Trains, George Stephenson House, Toft Green, York, YO1 6JT. From 00:08:30 2 September 2026(UTC+1) to 17:00:00 4 September 2026(UTC+1), users can enjoy discounted fares on selected promotional routes, with adult fares starting from £2 and child fares starting from £1 (for children aged 5 to 15). The promotional fares apply to selected routes with travel dates from 9 September 2026 to 23 October 2026, inclusive. Fares vary depending on the route. “Selected promotional routes” refers to all railway services offered by the promoter, which can be checked using the route finder available at https://www.northernrailway.co.uk/sale. A return tickets are not eligible for the promotion. 4,000,000 Qualifying £2 Tickets will be made available to purchase from the Start Date. Number of promotional tickets varies by train service. Up to two children under the age of 5 years may travel free with each adult that holds a Qualifying Ticket.
The South Western Railway (SWR) promotion: The promoter of this offer is South Western Railway Limited, a company established in the UK with a registered office address at 4th Floor, South Bank Central, 30 Stamford Street, London, SE1 9LQ. From 00:00:00 2 September 2026(UTC+1) to 23:59:59 6 September 2026(UTC+1), users can enjoy discounted fares starting from £3 when booking one-way advance single tickets on selected routes for travel from 9 September 2026 to 23 October 2026. Tickets purchased as part of the promotion are non-refundable.
