It is worth going. Pingtan highlights: the island scenery is beautiful, the blue tears are wonderful and dreamy, the road around the island is comfortable, the stone ancient village is unique, and the seafood is delicious. There are also wind power fields, elephant nose bay and other net red punch points, which is a good place for leisure and vacation.
The beauty of Pingtan Island is a rhapsody unleashed by the Creator. Stretching along 408 kilometers of coastline, the basalt canyons of Xianrenjing (Fairy Well) appear to have been carved by a giant axe. At low tide, stepping into the 47-meter-deep well, waves crashing against the black reef stir up thousands of snowdrifts. The slanting morning light feels like stepping into the secret realms of Iceland. Sunsets at Changjiangao are a visual wonder: a 3,000-acre array of windmills is reflected on the mirror-like beach. When the tide recedes, pink-blue shells scatter like stardust. At night, "blue tears" sparkle with the waves, like diamonds scattered on deep blue silk. Even more remarkable is the preservation of the character of a pristine fishing island. The clifftop road of the northern ecological corridor connects the colorful stone houses of Baisheng Village. Fishermen's nets hanging out to dry tremble in the wind, and the salty sea breeze carries an untamed wildness. For nine years, Pingtan has strived to balance development and conservation, anchored by an international style and youthful fashion. Smart tourism systems are already bearing fruit: Longwangtou Beach features real-time visitor flow monitoring, automatic flushing pools, and smart public toilets, significantly enhancing the visitor experience. The integration of culture and tourism is also a highlight: the Keqiutou Site Museum condenses 7,000 years of Austronesian civilization into an immersive exhibition; the "Planet Calling" Seaview Theater in Tannan Bay uses light and shadow to recreate the spectacle of the Blue Tears, bringing culture from the academic realm to the masses. However, over-commercialization is encroaching on some corners: the ancient architectural complex of Haitan Ancient City has been reduced to a cookie-cutter Yiwu small commodity market, and the throngs of people jostling for photo spots at the "Eye of the Strait" observation deck on Houyan Island often leave travelers feeling a sense of loss. Pingtan's ambitions extend beyond being a popular online destination. Events such as the International Kiteboarding Festival and the F4 Racing Carnival ignite excitement along the coast. Sailing activities at Pier 22 allow visitors to transition from simply "watching the sea" to "playing in it," signaling its progress toward becoming a full-time vacation destination. However, shortcomings remain: the public transportation network is weak, and the infrequent island-wide bus service forces tourists to rely on expensive chartered vehicles. Some homestays advertised as "sea view rooms" are actually located in remote villages, making the bumpy dirt roads a heart-wrenching journey home late at night. By strengthening ecological protection (for example, limiting commercial development along the northern corridor) and cultivating its unique cultural heritage (for example, reviving the intangible cultural heritage of rattan shield exercises), this "island closest to Taiwan" can truly become the Hawaii of the East. Pingtan is a gem sculpted by sea and wind—it boasts some of China's finest coastal scenery and stunning starry nights, yet it continues to vacillate between extensive development and sophisticated operations. If restrained craftsmanship replaces the short-sighted pursuit of traffic, it will surely shine as the brightest pearl of the Strait.

Lin Zexu Memorial Hall: A spiritual monument to explore the backbone of the nation In a corner of the bustling city of Fuzhou, the Lin Zexu Memorial Hall stands quietly, like an immortal spiritual beacon, illuminating the way for future generations to remember history and inherit the national spirit. It is not only a commemoration of Lin Zexu's personal life, but also a treasure house of deep patriotic feelings and national integrity, attracting countless people to come and admire and remember. Entering the memorial hall, the first thing that comes into view is the solemn stone archway, with inscriptions such as "Zhongxing Zonggun" and "Zuohai Great Man" on the archway, highlighting Lin Zexu's outstanding historical status. Walking along the stone road, the courtyard is neatly laid out, shaded by green trees, and the quiet atmosphere makes people feel awe. The architectural style in the hall is simple and elegant, retaining the characteristics of traditional Fuzhou folk houses, and the white walls and gray tiles tell the past years. The memorial hall vividly reproduces Lin Zexu's magnificent life through rich cultural relics, pictures, and multimedia displays. The "Humen Opium Destruction" exhibition area is particularly shocking. In the restored model of the Humen Opium Destruction scene, the billowing smoke seems to break through the display cabinet, and the scene of Lin Zexu commanding the destruction of opium with great righteousness seems to emerge in front of us. It is a heroic feat of the Chinese people to resist aggression and defend national dignity, showing Lin Zexu's lofty spirit of "If it is beneficial to the country, life and death, why should we avoid it because of misfortune or fortune". In the exhibition hall of banning opium and resisting the British, various memorials, letters, weapons and other cultural relics restore Lin Zexu's unremitting efforts to resist foreign enemies and safeguard national sovereignty under difficult times. Faced with the oppression of the great powers and the corruption at home, he never backed down, firmly promoted reforms, learned advanced Western technology, and became the first person in modern China to "open his eyes to the world". This spirit of daring to break through and take responsibility laid the ideological foundation for the salvation movement in later generations, and inspired generations of Chinese people to fight for the prosperity of the country. There are also contents introducing Lin Zexu's achievements in water conservancy, education and other aspects in the museum. He attached importance to people's livelihood, built water conservancy projects to benefit the people; advocated education, cultivated talents, and contributed to the long-term development of the country. These deeds let people see that Lin Zexu is not only a national hero, but also a down-to-earth doer with a heart for the world. In addition to static displays, the memorial hall will also regularly hold lectures, theme exhibitions and other activities to spread Lin Zexu's spirit and thoughts. Here, students can learn historical knowledge and feel the power of the national spirit; adults can clarify their responsibilities and responsibilities in reflecting on history; tourists can have an in-depth understanding of China's modern history and appreciate Fuzhou's profound cultural heritage. Lin Zexu Memorial Hall is a dialogue window between history and reality, and an important position for inheriting the national spirit. It carries the great spirit of Lin Zexu, allowing every visitor to gain inspiration and strength from it. In the tide of the times, this spirit is like a fire that never goes out, inspiring us to uphold justice, bravely take responsibility, and make unremitting efforts to achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
There is a sense of sedimentation of modern history, and I can feel the vicissitudes of a century ago. I can also feel the spirit of our ancestors who yearned for a better life in their own country more than a hundred years ago and worked hard. I also understand that the drug problem is not a matter of one person or a small family, but a matter of the whole society, the whole country, and even the whole world.

There are not many people on weekdays. There is tea in each area. The waiters are also very diligent. The liquor pool has a strong smell of liquor. The fish in the fish therapy pool are very lively and dedicated. Because you need to wear a swimming cap to enter the spa, you can book the place invisibly. The experience is super good😀😀😀
Let's talk about the hot spring water first. There are white wine pool, beer pool, old wine pool, wormwood pool, licorice pool and mint pool outdoors. There are three low-temperature pools indoors, a paddling pool for children, and adults can also swim. The rest area and bathing area are good. The service staff are warm and thoughtful. There are 2 tea buckets and paper cups next to the pool. The package value of 130! Including lunch and dinner.

It is worth taking the children there. There are many underwater species, the venue is quite large, and there are rich performances and activities. I didn't expect that there would be such a good underwater world in Yongtai. It can be said that it exceeded expectations.
The parking lot is very large and it is not far to drive from Fuzhou. However, the traffic during the holidays is really great. It is a bit hot inside that makes people want to turn on the air conditioner. However, the animal performances are still super good and worth seeing!

We were visiting Fujian from other places. The children knew from books that there was a Shipbuilding Museum in Fuzhou and they wanted to see it. I had only arranged to visit the Fujian Museum and had not planned this content, but the children kept talking about it, so I took them there on the last day of leaving Fuzhou. (It was a pity that we didn’t watch the performance due to limited time. I heard from other tourists that the performance was great) I am so glad that the children insisted on coming. Although there are many venues in the cultural park, it is hot and sunny to walk around, but each exhibition hall is very distinctive. In the main hall, people can feel the dedication of Fuzhou. There is an AI dialogue with Zuo Gong, and a panoramic display video, which is rich and interesting. I think it is more worth visiting than the Fujian Pavilion.
I was particularly satisfied today. The tour guide Hong Fei talked about the past and present of the Chinese Navy vividly and passionately. I once again felt the learning of the Red Tour. I was deeply moved!

📍 Highlights: Blue miracle under the night sky After 8pm, the waves rushed to the beach with fluorescent blue ripples, like stars falling into the deep sea. When stepping on the waves barefoot, every step aroused fragmented blue light, as if stepping on the Milky Way. It is recommended to turn off the light of the mobile phone and watch it quietly for 3 minutes. After the eyes adapt, you will find that the whole bay is glowing faintly. Hidden surprises in the daytime The emerald glass sea in the daytime is also amazing! Rented a transparent kayak (50 yuan/hour) to float on the jelly-like sea surface, and the fish swimming underwater were clearly visible. There are mini tidal pools in the reef area, and small starfish and green-shelled crabs were found. 3 Immersive light and shadow experience The starry sky projection plank road set up in the scenic area exceeded expectations (free), and the 3D light and shadow projected the picture of whales swimming under the soles of the feet, forming a fantasy of virtual and real interweaving with the blue tears of real waves. ⚠️ Tips to avoid pitfalls: 7-9pm on weekends is a burst of traffic, and the best photography spots need to be reserved 1 hour in advance The price of seafood in the fishing house outside the scenic area is unclear, and the "Langlixian" food stall 800 meters east is recommended Do not buy the so-called "blue tears cultivation bottle" (actually fluorescent liquid) from the stall 📌 Exclusive strategy: ✔️ Wear light-colored clothes! White clothes are like a built-in soft light filter when taking photos in blue light ✔️ Bring a mini tripod (30 yuan/time for rental in the scenic area), and long exposure of more than 30 seconds can take pictures of the magical silk sea ✔️ Pay attention to the real-time fluorescence index of the scenic area’s official account, and the viewing effect is best above Lv.3 🌌 Postscript: When the crowd dispersed at 1 a.m., I lay on the still warm beach and watched the remaining fluorescence flickering like breathing. At that moment, I suddenly understood what the ancients said, "After being drunk, I don’t know that the sky is in the water, and the boat is full of clear dreams that press the stars." The romance of nature is always beyond imagination.
The Blue Tears Scenic Area mainly refers to a series of viewing spots on Pingtan Island in Fujian Province, China, which is famous for its mysterious and beautiful "blue tears" phenomenon. The following is some key information about the Blue Tears Scenic Area: • Viewing time: The high incidence and outbreak period of blue tears are mainly concentrated in spring and summer, especially from April to June each year. During this period, the sea water temperature is suitable, the Noctiluca scintillans reproduces vigorously, and the night breeze disturbance makes the "blue tears" phenomenon more obvious. The specific viewing time is generally from 9 pm to the early morning, lasting about 1 hour, and a large outbreak may last all night. • Viewing location: There are basically traces of blue tears on the seashore of Pingtan East Peninsula, among which Changjiangao, Mojing Village, Dongmei Village, Houyan Island and Tannan Bay are places where blue tears appear more frequently. The recommended tear-chasing route is Longwangtou-Changjiangao-Dongmei Village-Tanan Bay. • Scenic spot features: Pingtan Island is the fifth largest island in China, with a coastline of 408 kilometers, 283 natural harbors and bays, and more than 70 kilometers of high-quality beaches, providing excellent conditions for viewing blue tears. • Opening hours: The opening hours of Pingtan Blue Tears Scenic Area vary according to the season. It is open from 17:30 to 22:30 from November 1 to April 30 of the following year, and from 19:00 to 23:59 from May 1 to October 31. • Viewing tips: When viewing blue tears, you need to choose a clear and windless night, because the light of blue tears is very weak, and you need to be in an environment without light pollution to better appreciate them. • Blue tears phenomenon: Blue tears are produced by a microorganism called Noctiluca scintillans when it reproduces in large numbers in seawater and is stimulated by external factors. When they are stimulated by waves, they will produce light blue light, just like the sea sheds crystal clear blue tears. I hope this information can help you better understand and plan your blue tears viewing trip.

Fudao, or Fuzhou City Forest Trail, is a famous urban leisure trail known for its unique design and rich natural landscape. Here are some details about Fudao: • Project Overview: • The main axis of Fudao is 6.3 kilometers long, the total length of the loop is about 19 kilometers, and there are 10 entrances in total. • It starts from Zuohai Park in the east and connects to Guoguang Park on the Minjiang Corridor in the west. It crosses Xiangshan, Houxian Mountain, Meifeng Mountain, Jinniu Mountain and other mountains, and runs through Zuohai Park, Meifeng Mountain Park, Jinniu Mountain Sports Park, Guoguang Park, and Jinniu Mountain Park. • Design Features: • The main body of Fudao is composed of hollow steel tube trusses, and the bridge deck is made of grating plates with a gap of less than 1.5 cm. The design not only meets the needs of wheelchair access, but also gives the plants under the trail maximum growth space. • The design of the trail achieves a column spacing of up to 14.4 meters, minimizing the damage to vegetation and reflecting respect for nature. • Travel experience: • Fudao offers a rich travel experience, including hiking, climbing to overlook the city scenery, and playing in parks. • The trail is equipped with Wi-Fi connection, touch screen information board and tourist traffic monitor, which displays tourist traffic conditions in real time. • Entrance and exit information: • The main entrances and exits of Fudao include the East Entrance of Xiangshan Tunnel (Entrance 1), Meifeng Mountain Park Entrance on Meifeng Road (Entrance 3), Jinniushan Sports Park Entrance (Entrance 5), Guoguang Park Entrance (Entrance 6) and West Railway Station Entrance (Entrance 7). • Opening hours: • The opening hours of Fudao are 7:30-18:00 in summer and 7:30-17:30 in winter. • Night view features: • The night view of Fudao is also a highlight. The landscape light strip is lit at a fixed time every day (18:30 in summer and 17:30 in winter). After the lights are turned on, Fudao is like a golden dragon, circling between the mountains. • Honorary Awards: • Fudao has won many awards at home and abroad, including the International Architecture Award, Singapore Presidential Design Award, and China Civil Engineering Zhan Tianyou Award. Fudao is not only a good place for Fuzhou citizens to relax and have fun, but also a must-visit place for tourists to experience the characteristics of Fuzhou city.
Fudao is a trail from Fuzhou Zuohai Park to Jinniu Mountain. It is the first suspended steel-frame urban forest trail in my country, with a total length of 19 kilometers. The steel trail lingers in the lush green forests and winding green mountains, sometimes turning and sometimes hiding in the green sea, like a dragon playing in the water. We walked in the warm sunshine, lightly in the forest, riding the wind, in the empty mountains and valleys, feeling refreshed and clear-headed, and suddenly felt a sense of chivalry and immortality.

Fuzhou West Lake Park, this historic garden, is like an exquisite painting, quietly spreading in the center of the city. On the weekend, I stepped into this poetic world with anticipation. As soon as I entered the park, a fresh scent of flowers came to my face. The willow trees by the lake gently swayed their tender branches, as if welcoming every visitor. Strolling along the lake, the lake water sparkled under the sunshine, and a few ducks swam leisurely in it, occasionally dipping their heads into the water, splashing circles of ripples. On the lake, several quaint bridges spanned it, with gurgling water under the bridge and pedestrians on the bridge, a beautiful picture of the Jiangnan water town. I walked through a bush and came to Kaihua Temple. The ancient trees in the temple were towering, and the incense was curling, giving people a sense of tranquility and solemnity. On the Xieping Island next to the temple, pavilions and towers were scattered and simple and elegant. Climbing up the Lake Viewing Platform, you can see the entire West Lake, with beautiful scenery of lakes and mountains. Continue walking along the lakeside and you will arrive at Guizhai. This was where Lin Zexu studied in his childhood, and it still retains its ancient style. Walking into Guizhai, you can feel the scene of Lin Zexu studying hard back then, which makes people feel awe. In Fuzhou West Lake Park, I not only enjoyed the beautiful natural scenery, but also felt the profound historical and cultural heritage. This is a business card of Fuzhou and a beautiful scenery in my heart forever.
The park has a profound historical and cultural heritage: Fuzhou West Lake Park has a history of more than 1,700 years. It is the most complete classical garden in Fuzhou and is known as the "Pearl of Fujian Gardens". Xin Qiji's "The misty rain is better than the clear sky, and it is like Xi Shi who has not married" vividly depicts the beautiful scenery of West Lake like Xi Shi; Cai Xiang's "Thousands of bamboos are all unrestrained, and the wind cicadas are lonely" shows the quietness of West Lake. Beautiful natural landscape: The "Eight Scenic Spots of West Lake" in the park, such as the willows of the fairy bridge, the sound of the pine in the big dream, and the setting sun on the ancient battlements, have their own characteristics, and the lake and mountains complement each other, and there are rich varieties of flowers, plants and trees. Whether it is the weeping willows in spring, the lotus flowers in summer, the chrysanthemums in autumn, or the ripples on the lake in winter, they all make people intoxicated. In the evening, the setting sun sets, and the afterglow of the setting sun sets against the swaying willow branches and the sparkling lake surface, making West Lake more beautiful.  Special events are held from time to time in the park. The Golden Autumn Chrysanthemum Exhibition held in November every year is a major event in Fuzhou West Lake Park. For example, the 61st Golden Autumn Chrysanthemum Exhibition exhibited a total of 1,300 chrysanthemum varieties, more than 30,000 pots of chrysanthemums and Asteraceae plants. There were also various chrysanthemum delicacies and chrysanthemum cultural and creative products on site, which attracted a large number of tourists to come and watch, bringing tourists a visual and taste feast. Strong leisure atmosphere: There are venues suitable for uncles and aunts to sing and dance in the park, there are spaces for uncles to dip brushes in water and write freely, and there are also trails for young people to run and exercise. Here you can enjoy flowers and tea, go boating on the lake, and rest and stroll in the pavilion on the plank road. It is a good place for citizens to relax and entertain, full of the breath of life.

Overall, only the main hall is worth going, and the secondary hall is not worth it. The main hall is very cost-effective, and the performance is also good, but there are too many people. The secondary halls are very small and old. For example, the Ice and Snow World, I bought a ticket but didn’t match the necessary cotton clothes. The clothes I rented were not thick enough. I came out after playing in it for a while because it was too cold! The Magic World is scary, the speedboat has to wait in line for a long time, and the Fantasy World is also very small, there is nothing fun.
It's OK, much better than the one on Gulangyu Island in Xiamen. It's just that it may not be too hot during the Dragon Boat Festival. I didn't turn on the air conditioner. It was hot and stuffy. I couldn't play for a whole day. I could only play for 3 or 4 hours. Wenzhou Polar Ocean World is more fun.
