Monument commemorates the ship and those who served in her. Its position points to where the ship was scuttled.
This monument is quite impressive consisting of a ship's mast placed on top of a concrete structure that is shaped to look like a ship's prow and that is embedded into the side on the hill on the head...
This very interesting monument to one of our fighting ships is well worth a visit for the history lesson alone. You can find out all about the HMAS Brisbane while enjoying a fantastic view of the Suns...
Visited on Monday 9th November. We always stop here to take in the view of the beach and over towards Point Cartwright. Plenty of parking spots and shade to sit and relax.
This is a great spot to view the beautiful Sunshine Coast coastline. There is excellent information on a couple of plaques about the HMAS Brisbane wreck not far off the coast.
Visited on Monday 13th July. This is a great spot to stop and take in the view towards Mooloolaba Beach and Point Cartwright. You might be lucky and see some whales as well.
