May concern kasi ako sa booking ko. 2. Sana may tao sa drop off, like grabe kaloka, kailangan mo pang umakyat sa lobby (3rd floor) para lang kumuha ng cart at mag-ask ng help para sa gamit, may phone naman na available sa drop off kaso wala ding kwenta kasi walang nasagot. 3. Yung sa shower, pag naliligo ka lumalabas sa glass door yung water. 4. Aside sa toilet paper wala nang extra tissue sa sink. 5. Medyo mahabo at madumi yung ref. Other Note is yung swimming pool ay outside the hotel you have to pass through at maglakad sa mga guest ng ocean park ticketing booth - so kung mag-swimming kayo that is something you can consider But overall, nag-enjoy naman kami especially yung anak ko, he likes to look yung mga isda.

Guest User: I stayed for 2 nights at Diamond Hotel Manila during my business trip. The room was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of TV channels from kids’ shows to sports. The bathroom was large and clean, and check-in/check-out was fast and smooth. Breakfast had a good variety of choices, and I especially enjoyed the bar and the Japanese restaurant inside the hotel. Hidden in the mountains of Ifugao, Batad is home to enormous rice terraces carved into the landscape, traditional villages, steep trails and viewpoints that make you stop every few minutes just to take it all in. And the best part? You don’t really experience Batad from a tour bus. You experience it on foot. Here’s how to plan a Batad trekking adventure and what you should know before going. 📍 BATAD, BANAUE, IFUGAO Batad is a small mountain village in Ifugao Province in the northern Philippines, near Banaue. The region is famous for its rice terraces, which were shaped into the mountains by generations of Ifugao communities. The landscape isn’t just beautiful. It represents a living agricultural and cultural heritage that has developed over centuries. From above, the terraces almost look like giant green staircases carved into the mountains. From inside the valley, they’re even more impressive. You suddenly realize how much work went into creating every level. ⸻ 🥾 WHY TREK IN BATAD? There are plenty of places in the Philippines where you can arrive, take a few photos and leave. Batad isn’t really like that. The terrain is mountainous. The roads don’t take you everywhere. Some viewpoints require walking. And if you want to understand the landscape, you need to get into it. The trek takes you through narrow paths, rice terraces, forested sections and small communities. You might pass farmers working in the fields. You might see water flowing through the irrigation systems. You might walk through a village where everything feels incredibly quiet. And then suddenly the trail opens to a huge view of the valley. That’s the magic of Batad. The landscape keeps revealing itself slowly. ⸻ 🌾 THE RICE TERRACES The rice terraces are obviously the main attraction. But don’t think of them as one giant viewpoint. The landscape changes constantly depending on where you’re standing. From above, the terraces create enormous patterns across the mountains. From below, the walls tower above you. From a narrow trail, you can see layers of terraces disappearing into the distance. And from a village viewpoint, the entire valley can look almost unreal. The terraces are also agricultural landscapes, not simply tourist attractions. Farmers continue to work in them, so visitors should be respectful when walking around. Stay on appropriate paths and avoid stepping into cultivated areas unless you’ve been invited or it’s clearly permitted. ⸻ 🥾 WHAT IS THE TREK LIKE? Batad isn’t necessarily an extreme trek, but you should be prepared for steep and uneven terrain. There are sections involving stairs, narrow paths and significant elevation changes. Wet weather can make the trails slippery. Some parts are exposed. Others pass through vegetation or forest. This isn’t the kind of hike where you want to arrive wearing brand new fashion sneakers. Bring shoes with proper grip. And expect your legs to work. The reward is that you don’t need to hike continuously for hours without seeing anything. The scenery changes constantly, giving you plenty of reasons to stop. ⸻ 🌄 TAPPİYA FALLS One of the popular trekking destinations around Batad is Tappiya Falls. The route takes you deeper into the landscape and adds another dimension to the experience. Instead of spending the entire day looking at rice terraces, you get a combination of mountain trails, village scenery, terraces and a waterfall. The route can be physically demanding because of the terrain. There are descents and climbs, and remember that every steep downhill section eventually becomes an uphill section on the way back. Classic hiking mathematics. Going down feels great. Then you remember you have to come back up. But reaching the waterfall provides a great break from the higher viewpoints. Depending on conditions, you can relax around the area and enjoy the surroundings before heading back. ⸻ 🏡 STAYING IN BATAD One of the best ways to experience the region is to stay overnight rather than treating Batad as a quick stop from Banaue. The village is surrounded by mountains, and staying there gives you access to quieter moments that day visitors may miss. Early morning is particularly special. The light changes across the terraces. Mist can settle between the mountains. And the village slowly comes alive. In the evening, the landscape becomes quiet again. There isn’t a huge nightlife scene. That’s part of the appeal. Batad is about nature, walking, conversations, simple accommodation and disconnecting from the usual tourist routine. ⸻ 🌅 SUNRISE IN BATAD Set your alarm. Seriously. Sunrise is one of the best times to see the terraces. Early morning light creates soft shadows across the mountains and makes the layers of the rice fields much easier to see. Clouds and mist can also add atmosphere. You don’t need a complicated photography setup. A wide phone camera can capture the scale of the valley surprisingly well. But don’t just shoot the landscape. The Philippine flag flutters in the wind at the center of the square, full of romantic Southeast Asian charm; turning around, you see the Manila Port container terminal, with red cranes, colorful containers, and giant ships intertwined, exuding a strong industrial vibe. The residential area by the dock hides the most vibrant everyday life. The skyscraper-filled CBD and the old district’s red-tiled roofs are interwoven, a collision of modern and vintage, a blend of prosperity and everyday life. THE PHILIPPINES 3 weeks guide Book your accommodation in part of Manila called Makati, where all the restaurants, street food, and shops are. On the morning of day 2 catch a flight to Coron. After arriving in Coron town, get yourself a bike for around 600 pesos per day. One day will be enough as Coron Island on its own is not really exciting so you won't really need much time for exploring. The best thing about Coron is the surrounding islands around and therefore the Island hopping tours. On day 4 in the morning, you will board the ferry to Palawan, El Nido. It costs around 1760 pesos per person and takes around 5 hours. But it´s worth it because now you are at one of the most spectacular places of this Philipines El Nido is a town on the very north of Palawan Island and is home to many pristine white sandy beaches and chilled vibes. From El Nido on day 7 in the morning join a van going to Puerto Princesa. In Puerto Princesa, you can visit Iwahig Open Prison and treat yourself in some nice accommodation as we did. Cebu Island is where the best waterfalls are. Words can´t describe how much fun it is to hike all the waterfalls levels! On the morning of day 8, you will arrive by plane from Puerto Princesa to Cebu Island. From the airport make your way directly down to Moalboal. That is where all the accommodation and restaurants for tourists are and you will be closer to all the waterfalls and sunrise hikes. Just a 2 hours long ferry ride from Cebu will bring you to Bohol Island. An Island with such unique landscapes has a lot to offer! Rice terraces, sunrise hikes, the chocolate hill, waterfalls, cave... But the main reason for a lot of people going to Bohol is Tarsier. The tiny little monkey-like looking animal is endangered spices and active only during the night. Stunning waterfalls, lovely local people and slow life are waiting for you on Siquijor Island. Our friend thoughtfully planned this place for us, and we were really grateful for the recommendation because it turned out to be such a lovely spot to spend some quality time together. The ambience was wonderful, peaceful, cozy, and relaxing. It was the kind of place where you could sit back, enjoy the surroundings, and have meaningful conversations with friends without feeling rushed. One thing to keep in mind, though, is that the café closes relatively early. When we visited, the last order was at 9 PM, so we had to make the most of our time there. we enjoyed our day 💕 theres food available like buffets inside the hotel so whenever you’re hungry you could eat there! we started our trip by 10am and ended by 2pm we also watched the sea lion and birds show and also DNA we had so much fun 💕
