My family enjoyed walking through the hallways and different rooms of Casa Manila. It gave us a glimpse of how the rich Spanish-Filipino families lived during the olden times. The bedrooms had ornate wooden beds and nice wooden furniture. The dining area had a big dining table and heavy wooden chairs. It even had giant fabric fans above (pulled on the side by helpers) to cool the guests and to shoo away flies. The kitchen showed the utensils used for extensive cooking. The restroom had matching chairs/toilets so that the master of the house could converse with a person while they were both doing their business. But that's just me, haha. Anyway, once outside you will enjoy the different gourmet restaurants serving authentic Filipino food. And if you're the curious type, there are vendors selling unique products. If you're in Manila, make sure to set aside some time to visit Fort Santiago. I think I will never outgrow my love for Korean food. Although I am not a die-hard K-drama or K-Pop fan, I have a distinct love for the freshness and quality of Korean BBQ and Banchan. I like how the meat selections are seasoned and conveniently prepared for grilling, and how the vegetable sides complement and balance these. Unlike other cuisines, it doesn’t tire my palate easily. Hence, this leads me to trying out different Samgyupsal restaurants and figuring out my best choices.

Ate here after a recommendation from a tour guide, and it did not let us down. Fantastic freshly cooked food at a fantastic price. Felt like an authentic locals restaurant in the Binondo area with plenty of locals eating there. Nice cold San Miguel beer available to wash down the delicious food. So glad we went here. Tucked in the hustle of Binondo, this Chinese tea house restaurant serves authentic Chinese cuisine. The menu has a very good varieties of food to choose from and the price is very reasonable. Found this place after watching a beautiful sunset by the water, the pizzas were large and delicious, probably the best I've had in the phillipines, as i didn't leave feeling super bloated! The service was friendly perhaps a little too polite if anything. Only beg is that we visited around 8pm on a Wednesday and were the only people in the restaurant, perhaps due to a large group having a private party in the hotel. The restaurant is located on the 3rd floor in the Bayleaf hotel. A nice arab themed interior greeted us on arrival we were seated and brought water while we chose we started with piuta and dips, 4 different dips were fantastic with pita and we could have ate so much more pita but resisted the urge to order and spoil our appetite a kebab combination with beef, lamb, mahi mahi and chicken coupled with grilled tomatoes was served with a side of biriyani rice and we shared a lamb biriyani - the best i have had in philippines - the place is very authentic and local living arabs were comong in for dinner during our visit good service, clean and tidy set up - all in all good and would recommend. #bestislandtraveltowns#romanticrestaurant

The external facade and the street that conveys you to My Kitchen - old Manila street with the ubiquitous food stalls, tricycles and even beggars, may fool a first-timer. But as you enter the glass door and small lobby of the Oasis, the din is exchanged for chatter of locals and squeals of children playing in the pool. The restaurant is rustic in ambiance, but mostly busy and full. Food is a delectable choice of Italian and Spanish cuisine, with Filipino flair. But truly, the freshness of what the chefs put in every plate is gastronomically palpable to the palate.
