Izusan Shrine

Typhoon Hagibis arrived in Nagano in 2 days. Take the bus to the current affairs shrine easily. There are many sites to reach some attractions such as the buckwheat noodle restaurant, the Ninja Museum and the Mirror Pool, meaning the Mirror Pond, and then reach the upper temple. It was fantastic to walk along the paths along huge cedar trees. There wasn’t much autumnal colour in mid-October. Best to see bright colours in November. On the higher bus stops there are traditional shops selling locally made Xinzhou buckwheat noodles, handmade straw utensils such as egg beaters, baskets, trays and more. The place is not crowded with tourists, it is actually quiet. If you love beautiful nature, it is highly recommended to visit.

The shrine on the top of Mount Idou, which originated from the empathy of the emperors of Chao Dynasty and Beitou, is said to be very spiritual in praying for love. At the same time, as a place for hiking, Mount Idou can see the sea scenery on the top of the mountain, which is very spectacular.

Every shrine in Japan has a different historical background and significance. This shrine also has many stories which are worth seeing.

I like this shrine very much when it comes to the cherry blossom sacrifice.
